Apr 27th 2010 1:06AM You knoiw what? Avatar was like a gajillion dollars to make, and District 9 made on like Food Stamps. District 9 was real and authentic, Avatar slick and visually impressive. If I had to choose which film I would watch again, it woud be District 9.
Much more belivable and empathetic characters. Hope there is a sequal. Deservedly so. Go for it!!

Feb 17th 2010 9:15PM Well, unfortunately Tom's other two kids are not as good looking as Suri--they are adopted and don't bear any resemblance to Nicole or Tom. On top of that, when Suri was born Mr. Cruise started putting it out there that she was some sort of alien goddess and was going to be raised as the "very special creature that she was" or some such nonsense. So, yeah, she's the favorite.

He was a great man--a genius for tapping into the idea that great
pathos can make for great comedy. At least he was smart enough to
spend his last few years on a farm with his family. Obviously, he not
only made good films, but made good decisions about what was really
important in life. Fine work, fine man. Rest in Peace, John.

America, I believe, would be more comfortable voting for the first woman president with some governmental history, than the first--I don't know--half black half white sorta Muslim sorta Christian with no history yet in policy making as a junior senator. We know all about Hillary--good and bad. We know nothing about this guy. I bet the super delegates are having buyers remorse. if not, they should.
