Suri Cruise, Nearly 5, Will Use a Pacifier as Long as She Wants (PopEater)

Mar 9th 2011 2:54PM Jackie: Yes..although it may be troubling to see a young child without a warm coat on when it's chilly; it's been proven that the way you dress for the weather has NOTHING to do with getting a cold or other virus. You can sit in the tundra in a bathing suit with wet hair and you won't 'catch a cold'. But I still don't understand why Suri is seldom seen wearing ankle socks or tights with her 'heels' or slip-on flats in the winter!!! Just doesn't look 'right' on a child!
As for the pacifier-that also looks 'disturbing' in the mouth of a 5-year-old-but, one of my daughters, at age 27, still sucks her thumb at times. If she had used a pacifier (which I never introduced to her) as an infant/toddler maybe she wouldn't be sucking her thumb at 27??? Another daughter kept cutting the rubber part of the pacifier from my 3-year-old grandson's and then hid it--he hasn't asked for it in more than 2 months!!! But, Katie and Tom 'do their own thing' and who are we to call them 'bad parents'???

Vote for the Best Performances on 'American Idol' (AOL TV: American Idol)

Jan 17th 2009 4:53PM Clay HAS gotten radio play-1,000s of times. Maybe not as much as he rightfully deserves. You may not be listening to the radio stations that DO play Clay!! Even Josh Groban complained he wasn't getting the radio play he, himself, expected!! But Clay's 'BOTW' is a revelation! And yes, Clay DID beat out Ruben by millions of votes! Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out!! And Ruben's Superstar on this list??? That was a snoozefest if there ever was one!!! Sorry-way too slow and boring. I bought the cd and took it out of the player before it was over!

Frenchie Davis & Ruben Studdard: 'American Idol' Heavyweights May Be Perfect Combination For Theatrical Tour (BV Newswire)

Jun 23rd 2008 11:07PM Most performers/actors/singers would give their eye teeth to be on Broadway. Simon just 'got it wrong' with his idiotic comments. BTW Ruben is NOT going to be on Broadway - he never was. He will be in the touring cast of Ain't Misbehavin'. I do hope, for his and Frenchie's sake, they sell seats better than when he attempted to do a gospel play with Robin Givens last year and it had to be cancelled before the first show due to lack of ticket sales. As to the one who couldn't remember Frenchie from AI2- she was dropped before she had a chance to get to top 32. Her 'nude' pics online caused a ruckus and AI, back then, wasn't going to have anything like THAT tarnish their contestants or the show. God forbid! LOL As for Broadway success: Clay brought in so much money for Spamalot I bet they are missing him like crazy now that his run is over. He was given most likely one of the biggest send-offs of any other performer on Broadway. So many fans in Shubert Alley he stood on the roof to say his good-byes! He was incredible. One of the best character actors on Broadway. 3 roles and 3 different British accents! Mike Nichols called him 'a master of character' and he was! Take THAT, Simon!!

Clay Aiken Live... on QVC (AOL TV)

Apr 24th 2008 11:07AM 'Clay disappeared'????? That is the funniest thing I have heard in a long, long time. Clay has done actually NINE tours (and NOT opening for anyone unlike some of the other winners of AI).If you had followed him in his fan sites you would of read what he has done each MONTH since AI2. Takes up pages and pages of the forums. Clay is NOT one to sit on his laurels. He keeps movin' and doin'. He has been on tv many times more than ALL of the past contestants of AI. He has done many live appearances and not just performing. He does several charitable appearances each year and not just for his own foundation. He has starred in his OWN 1-hour television special (no other AI contestant, winner or loser, ever has)-character acted in several tv sitcoms and just about has done EVERYTHING there is to do with the entertainment world-including producing. Geesh: 'Clay disappeared'?????? More like the so-called 'winner' of AI2 is the one who basically disappeared for all intents and purposes.

Former 'American Idol' Taylor Hicks loses record contract (BloggingStocks)

Jan 8th 2008 10:15AM Clay Aiken did NOT get less votes than the 'winner'. Clay was receiving 80 percent of the vote EVERY SINGLE week he was on. (Two producers even admitted to it-and it doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to figure out what happened that last night.) If the one measly phone line and two measly hours to vote allowed ALL of Clay's votes to come in he probably received millions of more votes than Ruben Studdard. I even think, even with millions of votes 'stuck' in cyberspace, Clay still had more votes coming in. Hasn't he proven it by now?? What more can he do to prove he is THE American Idol????? (If anyone out there thinks Clay has NOT been doing much; check out his fan boards. A book can be written on all he has done and will be doing.) A Clive should give it a rest already and retire-he is messing up his clients more than helping.

Ruben Studdard, His BlackBerry, and His Return to American Idol (Switched)

Dec 16th 2007 11:42PM Ruben only introduced the season during a few minutes intro at the beginning. Clay is the one who is narrating every single show the whole season!

TV Squad Daily with Brigitte - VIDEO (AOL TV)

Feb 12th 2007 8:00PM First of all, any celeb out there now would give their eye-teeth for the fan-base Clay has. What does it matter what age his fan-base it? Besides his fan-base spans toddlers all the way thru to elders. Every single age group is represented. I have been to more than 8 Clay concerts and there is not ONE age group represented. There are men, women, children, teens, 20 somethings, etc. attending- have having a great time, too, I might add. Harry Connick, Jr. only had the 'older fans' when he started out because he was singing the music THEY listened to 30-40 years before. Josh Groban doesn't have fans from 3-80. Clay's Juke Box Tour should of been videotaped for tv. Then more people would of seen how incredible a talent Mr. Aiken is. Clay will be around in show business many years after the last AI contestant has faded away. Clay is the only AI contestant, so far, that is the complete package. He has the "IT" factor AI producers were looking for all along-and they know it, too!!

Kelly Ripa doesn't like Clay Aiken (AOL TV)

Nov 20th 2006 10:47PM First of all, the incident 2 years ago at Clay's Joyful Noise Tour did NOT happen as reported. It was one of the teachers that acted rude and horribly. NOT Clay. He has nothing but respect for the children who participated in his concerts that winter. How many other performers used elementary, middle and high school choruses from each town/city they toured in???
Second, Kelly overstepped her boundaries Friday. Clay was supposed to ask Emmitt and Cheryl certain questions and Kelly asked them instead. She should of sat back and let Clay be Clay and give him a chance. Everyone knows SHE is the co-STAR of that show and she shouldn't of felt threatened by Clay. Although, Clay has more class in his pinky than she has in her whole body. Even Regis said he wish he had done that before (put his hand over her mouth)!!! That says a lot as to WHO was the rudest on that show last Friday. Kelly was very upset this morning, probably, after reading the reviews of Friday's show on their website that was just about 100 percent FOR Clay- and no, not all posters were Claymates before Friday!!!!
