Nov 20th 2006 12:36PM All they've done is accelerated your throwaway culture by a few years and reflected it back at you. We are now in the age of Carbon and the organic compounds, and the human relationship to these substances that Western culture is now so dependent comprises of greed/exploitation, cheapness, protection, time-saving/speed and denial. The way they can manifest through us is as confusion, loss of identity, materialism, exploitation, money and poverty, mental weakness, a sensation of sinking, isolation, loss of will or motivation, apathy, indifference to others, and a longing for life.
