Aug 12th 2010 1:11AM @chaoscentral The big thing about the 4G technologies is that they'll get faster as time goes by and upgrades come out. Whereas HSPA+ is the pinnacle of 3G, 4G is just getting started. This is how these technologies work - they're not static; they get upgraded over time.

Aug 12th 2010 12:57AM @Hell Angel WiMAX is 4G. LTE is 4G. They're just two different standards that meet the 4G criteria. Just as EV-DO and UMTS are both 3G standards and iDEN, CDMA, and GSM are all 2G standards. It's just different ways of achieving the same goal. Yes, LTE is capable of higher theoretical speeds, but WiMAX is here now and is pretty damn fast.

May 19th 2010 11:10PM @alext Why? Sprint's service is consistenly rated near-to or on-par-with Verizon's and the rate plans are so much cheaper. Plus, they include everything, instead of making you buy-up for GPS, TV, etc.
