Upcoming 'Iron Man 2' 3.75" Toy Line Packed With Concept Armors (ComicsAlliance)
Jan 27th 2011 1:24AM I like some of them, but I'm a bit weary of the repaints. Sure they make nice suits but if you already own 'em... meh. I do like the more accurate Mark V suit. Although that Mark IV to VI suit doesn't "Bridge the two films" it just bridges the two acts and is a bit pointless as the original Mark IV's and Mark VI's are peg warming now - why do I need a quick change? I would rather have one with a Tony Stark head or a Racetrack suit to Mark V "quick change".
Oh well... it at least keeps Iron Man toys around for years to come LOL
Axel Alonso Promoted to Marvel Editor-in-Chief (ComicsAlliance)
Jan 4th 2011 5:17PM Yay! JoeQ is gone as EIC, still with Marvel but at least we won't have so many gosh damn annoying controversial stories that HE wanted like Brand New Day that he felt HE had to both write AND draw - gee, so who edits the Editor? Hmmm...
JoeQ was the biggest Joke in comics - he was far too full of himself and his meddling caused more problems than he solved. I'm cautiously optimistic about Axel simply because he's not a "Writer/artist/editor" who will basically push an agenda and if other writers and artists say "No! That's a crappy idea!" JoeQ would just go "Fine, I feel so strongly about it, I'll write and draw and edit it myself. So nyah!"
Best wishes to the new EIC - hopefully we can have a reign that will be as prolific and fun as the Tom DeFalco days!
New 'Power Rangers' Show To Include Interdimensional Pirate Ships, Wonderful Insanity (ComicsAlliance)
Dec 3rd 2010 6:34PM Wow... popped collars. So... 80s. Good golly is Japan like a living, breathing stereotype now? "Oh we like the popped collars, very chic-chic! And what boys does not count pirate ships as their favorited vehicle of choice?! And who does not love enchanting and violent pirate action?!! Yatta!"
Although it will be very interesting to see how this will translate when it comes stateside... if it comes stateside.
I think YOU NEED TO MAKE THAT YOUR TAGLINE ON THE I-SB - SIMS!
"Warning! Contains enchanting and violent pirate action!"
'Dancing With the Stars' Season 10 Cast Rumors (Inside TV Blog)
Feb 24th 2010 10:23AM Well Paula hasn't professionally danced in a long time and ballroom is quite different from what she used to do. She's not used to dancing with a partner and "not lifting your foot" or "you're too sloppy". K-Fed on the other hand... similar thing, not used to dancing with a partner and his obviously out of shapeness would probably put him on par with Paula on this show. Although Paula's more disiciplined than KFED.
I mean Paula can choreograph "Dance" but can she do ballroom? What she used to do is so far and away different from ballroom. Not to mention when WAS the last time she actually danced on stage in a choreographed thing? The 90s?
Jay Leno and NBC's Primetime Nightmare Is Over (PopEater)
Feb 10th 2010 10:23AM I think Alice Cooper would be a good choice for Idol - man's been in music for over 40 years, still performs and has his own radio show.
Although Alice Cooper is far too nice... he can be sarcastic, but then again he could be the Paula/Simon...
Ringo would be awesome. Give us Richard Starkey! RINGO! RINGO!

I'm kinda surprised Jay didn't go out bigger... I mean at least go out with a bit of a bang, I barely knew last night was his last night. Well maybe they'll make a bigger hoohah for his return to Tonight.
Alter-Egomaniacs: Garth Brooks (Spinner)
Nov 27th 2008 3:45AM HEY! Why isn't ALICE COOPER on this list? He was the ORIGINAL Stage Name alter-ego guy! He beat Ziggy by YEARS! Who made this list? Learn yer roots kids. Alice Cooper was the original, the rest are just posers.
Dial-Up Internet Users Still Don't Want Broadband, Study Says (Switched)
Jul 4th 2008 9:16AM Sure for basic web browsing its not that huge of a difference, but you'll notice it if you ever want to watch video online or stream music. And for the person above that was saying that it was her broadband connection that was making e-mail get sent back. Uhm honey that was your e-mail box. You probably exceeded the max space in your inbox. Depending on your provider you only get a few megs of space, which fills up pretty fast when you factor in spam and "save as new" messages. Had nothin' to do with your broadband connection. E-mail is not dependant on your computer. And if they couldn't get your messages, either their boxes were full too, or maybe your outgoing mail server wasn't set up right. And y'know you don't have to use your ISP's e-mail account, i never use mine. There is such a glut of free e-mail out there, or if you want to be cool, get a domain from like godaddy or something, and have your own account with your own domain name.
I love my DSL, sure sometimes it feels slow, but then that's partially my aging computers fault. When browsers suck up nearly 75 megs of Ram by themselves, connection's only as fast as your computer. I would never be without broadband. I'm a merchandiser and I need to send in my call reports online with pictures, and a 2meg picture takes a loooong time to send over a dial up connection versus a broadband line. Sure its more expensive than dial up, but you can actually USE IT, And its not monopolizing a phone line. When you factor in the cost of another phone line for your modem, and even a "bargain" provider, you're not that far away from even like 2megabit or higher broadband or cable internet. Not to mention that if you want to pay just a bit extra or if you've got a good ISP that gives you a nice modem, you can get wifi built right into your router/modem and with a fairly cheap wifi card on your computer or laptop, you don't even need to string a cable to the computer.
Dial up is good in a pinch, I'll admit that, but for my day to day, I'll take DSL any day.
Daylight Savings Wreaks Havoc On Gadgets, or Does It? (Switched)
Nov 3rd 2007 12:19PM We should just do away with Daylight Savings or whatever they want to call this load of BS! Maybe we should all publically defy the time changes. Riot in the streets! Throw eggs at clock towers and publically smash time keeping devices.
America used to be great before the time changes! Time changes are the TRUE terrorism! Jihad against Daylight Savings Time! Viva La No DST!
E-mail the president, the congress, the mayor the govenor, the garbage men, the street sweepers, your next door nighbors and say "HECK NO!" to Daylight Savings time!

Coke should can its Snapple fancies (BloggingBuyouts)
Jul 7th 2007 11:30AM I do hope Coca Cola eventually drops that garbage Splenda/Sucralose from their products. That crud is CLORINATED SUGER. That's right. Clorine and suger, there isn't even a molecule of real suger left after the process. And it tasts horrible.
I am pleased that they and Cargill are working toward making a sweetener based on Stevia which is far healthier and far better for diabetics.
Aspartame - wood alcohol and Splenda/Sucralose - clorinated suger vs. Stevia which is a plant.
Or y'know what folks, just go back to good old fashioned suger, its still far healther in moderation than the artificial crud or the "high fructose corn syrup". Natural cane suger or fruit suger solids would do the same trick.
Coca Cola needs to know that people want HEALTHER beverages too and Zero should be banned.
