Mar 6th 2010 9:20AM One has to wonder these days if the right leaning supreme court itself is giving conservative republican lawmakers tips on how to do an end run around Obamas plan for health care reform. If so, it shows how incredibly corrupt the supreme court is. the conservatives, or neo cons, on the supreme court, like Scalia, make it known in advance about what their guiding principles are in adjudicating cases. They have their answers, and the cases presented before them are given the litmus test. Whereas Justice Clarence Thomas NEVER asks a question during a case, which argues strongly for the conclusion that he has already decided how he will vote based solely on his own values, Scalia does not much better by constantly interupting a presenter, and has made no bones about how he always votes based upon his values which are fixed and unchanging and cant be altered. Are Roberts and Alito much better. Not at all. Kennedy is the only one of the conservative justices who may even have an inkling of thinking from case to case, on a case by case basis.
So the republican states in congress are gearing their efforts to falling back on the supreme court which cannot easily be touched, and are going to remove from the electoral process even further a chance to remediate the failing health care system.
