Oregon Vet Faces Eviction for Displaying U.S. Flag (AOL Real Estate)
Nov 4th 2011 12:11PM If an American Flag is allowed; ALL other National Flags should be included. And after that; we can look at other 'requests' that will lead to broader groups of symbols. And after that; we can look at yet more Country, National, State, Religious and 'Fringe' symbolism to be hung all over the building :-). If any are 'denied'; we can contact the ACLU! Maybe they have a 'Flag' to hang also. The 'new' Democratic Nation of Lybia needs to be 'Recognized..............'. BRING IT ON!!!!
Who is BP CEO Tony Hayward? (AOL Hot Searches)
Jun 11th 2010 6:03PM It is TOTALLY relevant to ask how much this guy makes! It is easilly enough cash to stuff in the end of that pipe and STOP the leak!
10 Free Services at The Home Depot (DIY Life)
Apr 20th 2010 8:58AM Home Depot has always been a "fair weather friend". When they are "forced" to care about their customers, they move up to the plate. However; when there is no competition; like Lowes, Home Depot's true colors come out. Thier 10% "guarantee" and quality customer care (service) was suspended in Redding, when Lumberjack folded. They reinstated it when Lowes opened up. It is hard to return to a store you "loved", when you have been "shocked" into the reality of knowing that their "service" is totally CONDITIONAL :-(.
4 Bizarre Businesses Run From Prison (Asylum)
Jan 23rd 2010 1:37AM Maybe we, who have passed judgement, would feel a lot better, if these folks were nailed to a cross and spat on. It certainly is a lot easier to let another to take the "heat" for what we have done - and hidden.
Unsold clothes destroyed at H&M -- until Twitter roared. (WalletPop)
Jan 7th 2010 2:15PM It is better to clothe and feed 1000 guilty "free loaders" than allow one who is innocent, cold and hungry to stay cold and hungry. If you are asked for your coat, give them your pants also.
Craigslist vs. eBay: Internet giants take each other on in Delaware courtroom (Daily Finance)
Dec 7th 2009 4:04PM Craiglist has been VERY useful to me in selling my home; renting my rentals and finding needed items. Ebay is OK; but expensive. I simply use both wisely.
Diabetic Student Wins Fight For Extra Gym Classes (ParentDish)
Nov 21st 2009 11:30PM I think the PE is wonderful! However, no shower should be required, as it could promote an adverse diabetic coma. This, of course, would then require that all students be schooled in separate classrooms because of body odor issues. More teachers would then have to be hired; with PE certification, of course. This would lead to......................... More classrooms..........more schools...............more money.....higher taxes........spoiled kids.......bigger insulin factories.......higher employment......even more taxes.....etc.
37 Years Later, Girl in Vietnam War Photo Spreads Hope (Lemondrop)
Sep 10th 2009 10:22PM Dear Folks,
Do we really believe someone or something, other than ourselves, is/are responsible for this horror...... think again; we all have a Choice and we all simply give that Choice lip service or, worse yet, ignore it.
Virginia Man Helps Geese, Gets Ticket (Pawnation OLD)
Aug 6th 2009 8:20PM Well; I NEVER.....Those are obviously CANADIAN Geese; illegal Aliens!!! They illegally swam or flew over our border and placed us all in danger of losing our precious freedoms. I say a "spot in the tar" would have been thier deserved future!!!!
Man Plans to Shoot Himself into the Sky With a Rocket (Switched)
Aug 1st 2009 3:39PM Maybe, an "extended" trip of 25,000 miles instead of 25,000 feet would be more cost effective and last longer?
