Can One Bad Scene Ruin a Whole Movie? (Cinematical)
Mar 19th 2010 12:58PM Just because they talked about that idiotic dance did not mean they needed to have him do something that looked like MC Hammer on crack. Add to that, the hip hop'ish music and you have a crappy scene.
And I did watch Spiderman so yeah I knew he was under Venom's (yup I know its name) influence. That doesn't change how stupid and pointless that whole scene (and really the entire movie) was. Venom would not have him dancing around in a jazz club. Venom would have him beating bad guys to a pulp.

Mar 19th 2010 12:22PM ...or straw that broke the camel's back ... lol
I also totally agree about the end of The Mist, but they ruin all Steven King stories.

Mar 19th 2010 12:11PM Oh I had managed to forget that stupid dance and now its back destroying my image of the movie, the director and Depp. The jazz club in Spiderman was just the hair that broke that camel's back. Worst Spiderman ever!

Pepsi and Walmart: Helping your kids want more junk food (WalletPop)
Sep 14th 2009 12:11PM I started noticing flasks in lots of stores recently. I saw them in Claires... pretty pink ones with hearts and skulls (aww so the 10 year old can be girly AND edgy while drinking kool-aid in her flask).
Korean Actress Faced Jail Term for Affair (Lemondrop)
Dec 19th 2008 4:12PM There are several states in the U.S that still had similar laws until at least ten years ago, and I'm pretty sure they are still on the books. We just very seldom actually use them.
Go out and play: Fox dumps its Saturday morning cartoons for infomercials (WalletPop)
Nov 28th 2008 11:15PM ... and what about the kids who don't have cable? Believe it or not, there many households without a cable subscription; like mine for one. I won't let the kids watch those crummy live action shows, and with Fox gone, they are done to just a handful of cartoons available. I noticed a long time ago they were cutting the cartoon times shorter and shorter, and most of the cartoons are boring. When my kids watch old Bugs Bunny they LAUGH. I think that is the point of cartoons, and most of them can't get a giggle per show.
