Mar 5th 2011 2:10PM I would shop at Target before Walmart any day. Walmart is not as cheap as they say they are. I had a Walmart employee tell me they are only a penny cheaper to say that they are cheaper. You get the lower quality for that penney less.They don't treat their employees that well either. I don't have a lot of money to waste or spend foolishly,but I don't care for Walmart checking reciepts when you just walked from the register to the door. They treat you like everyone is a crook. I wear decent clothes and act civilized when I go in. I am your average blue collar worker.Not rich but not poor.

I had a walmart employee come into a drug store where I worked,and he told me it only has to be .01 cent cheaper to say it was cheaper.I have compared the prices and there isn't much that is cheaper there than other stores.You just have to watch ads. Walmart does not have the quality of products and you can't compare unless you compare quality too.

Nov 24th 2010 9:01AM I had that happen to me several years ago and had the wand used and a pat down. I also was wearing a long skirt. They weren't happy with that. It was harder to do the wand between the legs. On the return trip I wore a different bra. I don't fly often but make sure it is not an underwire bra when I do fly.

Oct 31st 2010 5:15PM I think most people who shop the stores know that they can apply for the credit cards or buy the suggested item that is at the registers. Usually I just say no. If I wanted it I would apply for it or buy it. Like no I don't want fries with that or I would have ordered it.

Oct 31st 2010 5:01PM I worked for Walgreens for almost 10 years and they gave me a poorer review for 2 reasons.1. I didn't push the suggestive sale items and 2. I had gotten an exemption not to sell alcohol because of my religious convictions. they alwasy acted like they were put out by having to ring liquor for me. They went from a great company to work for to a money hungry grab all you can get place.I left there and my stress level is a lot lower.I would never tell someone not to work there but I would not encourage it either. Yes managers will treat you like that if they want to. Actually I call that harrassment or a hostile work enviroment.

Sep 13th 2010 12:30AM I have 3 daughters. 2 with common names and 1 different.They all seem to like their names.Davina has had a few more problems. They think she should be of another ethnic culture than she is. When the middle girl was expecting she picked out 2 names for her son,both had crossed over to the female side for names. I told her to name the son what she wanted,but to consider something more masculine so it wouldn't give anyone a reason to pick on him. They did and I'm very happy with his name-Garrett. I would accept whatever they chose.They had not thought about the names being more feminine at the time.

May 17th 2010 1:44AM I work for Walgreens and when I started 9 years ago it was a great place to work. But the last 2 years it has gone down hill fast.The pay is alright but they want you to do about ten things at once. the moral were I work is pretty low. the manager is usually in a bad mood.The benefits are good if you can stand working almost all holidays if you are full time. The part timers seem to get them all off.Now that they have alcohol back in the stores it won't get any better.

Feb 19th 2010 10:26AM I love McDonalds fish sandwiches when they are hot and fresh if they sit very long they get nasty.My hubby got me a fish from Burger King that was dry and Nasty.I still prefer McDonalds.At this time of year i usually go get their double fish sandwiches. McDonalds food is good if it is fresh but if it sits too long it gets yucky and I'd say about 5 minutes under their heat lamps is too long.

Jan 30th 2010 9:05PM I have been married for almost35 years. My husband does not wear a wedding ring because he works in a factory. I work retail and wore mine until almost 2 months ago when I broke that finger slipping on ice. I cannot get mine on yet. My husband has not given me any reason to suspect unfaithfulness.I believe alot of it has to do with how you carry yourself.
