Pixies Open Up About Band 'Friction,' Say Bono Begged Them to Make New Music (Spinner)

Apr 29th 2011 12:52PM They sucked in 88 and they still suck today.
No need for any more of that noise. No singer at all, just whining/moaning/speaking.....

Bono? Best Front Man EVER.

Boy Genius, 12, Has Higher IQ Than Einstein, Developing His Own Theory of Relativity (ParentDish)

Mar 30th 2011 9:43AM Interesting. Einstein, aside from being a brilliant physicist and mathematician, was incompetent socially and entirely unable to perform many everyday tasks that the average person takes for granted. Mr. E held a driver's license for less than 6 months before it was revoked permanently due to his inability to operate and navigate a vehicle. He just couldn't do it.
Still, being gifted at math would be nice.

Reuben De Jong, Strongman, Fails Record-Breaking Attempt Humorously (Fanhouse Main)

Feb 23rd 2011 2:43PM The frame was different and it appears as if he couldn't see properly either. Focusing explosive power is as much about timing and penetration depth as it is strength. He appeared to be exploding too early. Premature Smackulation?

EXCLUSIVE: Star Jones Talks NeNe Leakes, Barbara Walters & more (BV Buzz)

Feb 16th 2011 10:45AM Ha! I knew it would be about RACE. It's all they can think about. Without it, they would have to stand on their own two feet as actual equals, so they perpetuate the myth of "white racism" and "black stereotyping", when, in fact, THEY are the racists responsible for portraying and maintaining black stereotypes.

AOL's 'BLACK VOICES'? TOTALLY RACIST

Don't Be Fooled by These 12 Common Pet Myths (Pawnation OLD)

Jan 29th 2011 10:26AM #7 is crazy, silly, "Hey I love for my untrained pet to continually pee/poop in my home" wrong.
Dogs should always be taught the word, "NO", ASAP. Forcing them to look directly at their mess while you say "NO", then immediately putting them out, or walking them, definitely gets the message across.
Yesterday, I was hours late in getting home. By the time I was able to return, my Shetlands Sheepdog had been in the house for 13 hours! No messes, just an extremely well behaved, super-smart dog who really had to poop and pee.

Florida Parents Sue Boy Scouts Over Hiking Death of Their Son (ParentDish)

Jan 20th 2011 5:09PM NO AUTOPSY? NO CASE.

These parents are apparently unwilling to consider the role that they might have played in MIke's death by allowing their child to become obese(5'6" 210lbs).

Had BOA declined to allow Mike to participate in the hike due to his obvious lack of physical conditioning, I suspect his parents would have complained of that as well.

Nonetheless, a very sad tale and a cautionary one.

I hike and back country camp. I'm in excellent condition. I wouldn't do a 20 mile hike in The Everglades during the month of May. Doesn't sound like fun at all.

Muslim Girl Back on Basketball Court After Being Benched for Wearing Headscarf (ParentDish)

Jan 20th 2011 4:53PM @Vicki.....Nice rebuttal. Typical of those without a legitimate argument to make, you instead are forced to resort to childishness and name-calling.
Soooooo typical.

Muslim Girl Back on Basketball Court After Being Benched for Wearing Headscarf (ParentDish)

Jan 20th 2011 4:50PM Several comments here refer to Muslims in the US Military....who include, BTW, Major Nidal Hassan. REMEMBER HIM?
Major Hassan didn't mind wearing the same uniform as everyone else, so long as no one stopped him from MURDERING 13 UNARMED TROOPS.
Islam is not a religion so much as it is a violent, intolerant, politically motivated, HATE-CULT.

Muslim Girl Back on Basketball Court After Being Benched for Wearing Headscarf (ParentDish)

Jan 20th 2011 4:46PM In Team Sports, one conforms to team rules and dress codes. Uniforms are worn. If the child is unwilling to conform to team standards, no special dispensations should be made for her.

I played football and ran track. Standards were set for not only clothing, but hair as well. If your hair was too long, you didn't play...period. If one player bucked the standards, all were punished until ALL complied.

Why is it that our immigrant population refuses to assimilate with our traditions and culture? If their way is so great, then why did they come here?

If my religion required my to wear a white robe and pointy hat would I be allowed to participate in said garb? Of course not. So it should be with Islamic dress. Islam is, after all, more Hate-Cult than Religion.
