Jan 14th 2012 7:11PM Affirmative action is outdated, I believe we no longer need it. Quotas and lowering standards or test scores is wrong too, a job should go to the person most qualified. If we are going to do quotas or affirmative action then we need to do it with everything including sports. A basketball, baseball, football or hockey team should be 1/4 black, 1/4 white, 1/4 Latin and 1/4 Asian. Sorry LeBron, we have to let you go for this 5'6 Japanese player etc. We could learn from sports, they use the best qualified for the team. The fire dept. lowered their standards back in the 1990s so more women could join, instead of carrying 165 lbs they now have to be able to drag 165 lbs. I don't know about you but if my house is on fire I want someone like Brock Lesner coming in to save me not someone who has to drag me down the stairs. If the woman can carry 165 let her in by all means.

Jan 14th 2012 7:02PM Either way it is wrong to have a "black only" "white only" "latino only" "Asian only" anything no matter if it is a pagent, a scholarship, a school or college or just a website dedicated to "blank only" voices or dating sites. It should be fair for any race to have something that excludes another race from participating because they are a different color.
Does matter what happened 100 years ago or 5 years ago it is still wrong. Same with terms like "African-American", "Latin-American", "Asian-American" I will never say these words, we are ALL American, these are words to divide us and as we all know united we stand, divided we fall. No other country does this, you never hear African-British or Mexican-Asian or Russian-Italian. The only place it is done is in Quebec Canada with the French-Candians and we all know they have been dealing with much division over all that for decades.

Jan 13th 2012 1:40PM So it says whites only, there are many events and org. that do not allow whites and nobody cares. Black miss America is okay but not a white miss America, on AOL they have black voices, latino voices, gay voices but no white voices. Black colleges that only give scholarships to blacks, are there any white colleges that are only allowed to give scholarships to whites? You can go to a black pride rally but a white pride group is always racist, to be fair most are. We need a white pride group that is not about hate, I am proud of my Germanic/Nordic heritage, I do not hate anyone because of their race or color. It would be nice to have a group where whites can be proud to be white.

Nov 17th 2011 8:00PM I do love animals, but I also love to eat them. Especially a nice rare, bloody steak, my favorite. Veggies I eat but meat is something I have to have a few times a week. If they do not want to eat meat I will not hold that against them and they should do the same for me. Surf and turf baby, a bloody slice of roast beef or N.Y. strip and a 5-LB lobster I could eat every day.

Sep 17th 2011 8:54AM For three years Obama has globe trotted around the world, played golf while stateside, goes on date nights flying to other states ona whim, his wife took her friends to Spain staying at 5 star villas all while telling the American people to tighten their belts. Obama is a "do as I say, not as I do" type leader. Yes GWB took vacations to his ranch which was set up to still run the gov. but it was not a 5 star villa. And Obama promised change so there he should be doing opposite of what Bush did yet he has embraced and extended many of the Bush era policies. Many of which he was against when he was a Senator, the tax breaks for the rich, the corporate bail outs, the patriot act, he was against as Senator but extended as President, this is the worst kind of hypocrite. Clinton and Bush screwed things up but so did Obama and Pelosi. They had two full years of total control of all 3 Houses and even had a year of a super majority where they could block any GOP filibuster if the Democrats voted party lines but even the democrats could not go along with Pelosi and Obama to do any real change so they just extended the Bush policies that they were so against and we are still in a big mess, only much worse now. There was no change, it was all status quo, we wanted Bush out but we got a Bush two in the nations first bi-racial President.

Jul 27th 2011 5:13PM Yeah, its not a bad name, we will call him Remi for short. I figured if she was going to do that I liked the name Buck Shot, it fits with about any name. First name Buck, middle name Shot....What your name...Buck shot Jones, Buck Shot Cantrell, Buck Shot Scwartzenegger, Buck Shot Stallone.

Jul 27th 2011 4:50PM Pippa is a popular name in England and with all the press lately its no wonder it tops the list. Today parents are naming their kids whatever strikes them at that moment, my daughter had a baby boy last week and named him Remington Gage because her husband hunts. Some countries are banning baby names and I can see that to some degree, the kid has to live with that name for 18 years until they can legally change it. I know it sounds like attack on freedoms but you have to have a limit. Made up names like "I fuc%ed ur mother"or "Jesus sux crap" or names that are offensive like ni&&ersBite or skankwhore are just not appropriate. The problem is they are usually parents who cannot take care of themselves much less their own kids and they are in control of giving this baby a name.

Jul 21st 2011 8:47PM What about names that were given before all these crazy names started? Dick Butkis was probably teased so bad as a kid he grew up to be the baddest football player ever. Or Johhny Cash "a boy named Sue" it teaches them to be tough and mean and they can grow up and be prize winning fighters or NFL players. Or they can beat their wife and kids and just be jerks.

La Toya Jackson: Michael Was Murdered ... His Kids Have 'Nothing' (PopEater)
Jul 3rd 2011 10:25AM Sounds like La-toya is trying to sell her book with all these questions about his death. I doubt he was clean, too many people around him spoke of his pain pill abuse. Maybe Michael took one for the team, his estate is making 100 times more now that he is gone. I find it hard to believe that the kids are not getting any money from his estate. Or maybe la-toya thinks the illuminati came a calling. I am sure wherever Michael is, Heaven or Hell he is the only one who knows for sure.
