Chiefs Trade Michael Bennett to Buccaneers (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Oct 16th 2007 11:49AM He may be fast, but he also goes down easy and can't catch very well. Hope the Tampa O-line can open some gaping holes for him or he's going to be one more Tampa RB on the IR

Priest Holmes' Leadership Is Questioned (by ... Jason Whitlock) (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Jul 31st 2007 8:42AM Whitlock is just pissed that Priest proved him wrong. In a article just a couple weeks ago Whitlock said Priest would never play football again, not even in a video game.

Priest Holmes Returns to Kansas City Chiefs (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Jul 26th 2007 9:03AM Priest + Bennet = a good tandem RB team. We need to hold off on the effect this will have on LJ's hold out until we see Priest in a few contact drills, but if he is anywhere near his old form and a third RB (we have a bunch on the camp roster) can step up and prove they could be a good situational back LJ could be forced to come back just to keep his starting job.

The FBI's Spyware: Is it Watching You? (Switched)

Jul 23rd 2007 3:41PM Just to head off the trolls. The FBI got a warrant from a federal judge to use this, just like if they wanted a search warrant.

News Flash: Priest Holmes Is Done (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Jul 10th 2007 8:49AM Michael, once again you are mistaking Jason Whitlock for a reporter. He is a columnist and stated in the column that you are quoting that this is entirely his opinion and is not based on any facts.

Now, I personally believe he is correct and, except for my Priest Holmes jersey I, as a Chiefs fan, have moved on. (The only reason I still wear the jersey is I don't want to pay another $60 for a new jersey)

Please, I beg you, stop using Whitlock as a source unless he actually is reporting something (like his interview with Larry Johnson.)

So Will Larry Johnson Hold Out? (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Jun 12th 2007 9:13AM Ryan, you need to check your source on this one. Jason Whitlock, while an entertaining columnist and having great things to say about race relations in America today, has a grudge against Carl Peterson. He is the only regular Chiefs writer who has said anything about this situation.

Personally, based on 10+ years as an avid Chiefs fan and season ticket holder, I think LJ will get a contract extension, it just won't come this year. If he wants a good contract from the Chiefs he just needs to shut up and play, which it looks like he has been doing this offseason. Carl does not negotiate with whiners and thugs, the only high profile person I saw hold out got cut one year before his rookie contract expired. And a player like Tony Gonzalez, who has never publicy threatend the Chiefs with hold-out threats or negative talk, but just been an outstanding player on the field and a great man off the field, keeps getting fat contracts. LJ needs to look to people like Tony G, or even LT and pay attetion to how they present themselves on and off the field to see why they get the fat paychecks.

Tiger Calls the 17th at Sawgrass 'Gimmicky' (Fanhouse Golf Blog)

May 11th 2007 9:34AM It's very simple, this is NOT a golfers hole, it is a golf FANs hole. The reason this hole is at the 17th and not the 8th is so it can be seen on national TV on the weekend. How many people tune into the Players just to see great golfers do what so many of us hackers do when we are faced with hitting it over water on the tee shot? This hole has one purpose and on purpose only, to increase the viewing audiance of the tounament, and that is GOOD for golf.

The Draft May Soon be Departing New York City (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Apr 27th 2007 9:14AM Somehow I missed the Red Lobster in Canton. But it does have a couple of very nice public golf courses.

Will Shields: Headed For the Hall of Fame? (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Apr 17th 2007 9:23AM Will Shields defines what a hall of fame player should be. Not only was he the best player at his position for a decade (at least.) He was also one the the finest men to play the game of football. Will Shields is what every single football player should aspire to be. I hope the NFL hires him to talk to every single rookie player entering the league today to show them that you can be a successfull outstanding football player and not be a self-serving money/spotlight-grubbing criminal thug like so many young talented players appear to be today.

If Will Shields does not make the HOF on the first ballot it will be a travesty.

The NFL Might Put Radios in Offensive Player's Helmet (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Jan 24th 2007 11:53AM If we are going to do that then we also need to make all stadiums and fields identical so we can take away the weather advantage of teams like Green Bay, Buffalo, Cleveland and New England.

Pffui on that crap! As a loud and screaming member of the Red Sea at Arrowhead (Home of the CHIEFS!!) I think the fans are a big part of the game. I pay my hard earned money and try to help my team win with my noise. It's not my fault that some teams don't have loud supportive fans and like to whine when they face a stadium full of true fanatics.
