Is Gulf Oil Disaster Obama's Katrina? (Hint: No Flyovers This Time) (Politics Daily)
May 3rd 2010 5:47PM Obama stands in front of a coast guard cutter, the same branch of the DOD that he picked a new leader so he could cut the coast guard and shrink it size. The USCG has less full time members than the NYPD. The USCG is under the supervision of the dept of homeland security. The Coast Guard is our first line of defense but yet Obama and his top pick has decided to reduce the number of Coast Guard members and cutters. Our Coast Guard is one of the finest in the world. They serve and protect in every aspect, they are responsible for port security, drug interdiction, illegal aliens, enviromental issues, boat safety and oh yes lets not forget search and rescue. The USCG was the first branch of our military on the scene after 911 and rescued over 25,000 people after Katrina hit, that the mayor and governor of La. left to die instead of declaring a state of emergency in time so the fema could come in and do their job. Everyone can blame Bush all they want for Katrina but the reality of it all it was the mayor and the governor's fault. Fema cannot interceed until a state of emergency is declared and the state asks for help. We need to build up our coast guard not cut it to the bone.
EPA Staffers Were Forced to Ignore Science, Investigation Finds (Politics Daily)
Apr 30th 2010 7:19AM It is very easy to blame Bush for all of it, but the truth is it has always been that way and still is today . What part of it all about the money do you not get. It is time to stop blaming Bush for everything and start holding our elected officials who do make the laws accountable for this BS !
Big Drop in Number of Americans Who Believe Obama is Keeping Promises (Politics Daily)
Nov 5th 2009 8:13AM I hope everyone will watch this cartoon created in 1948, it will open you eyes to what is really going on here. Every group that thinks Obama and the liberals in charge are looking out for them is wrong, they are being used. Just watch this cartoon it is just too familiar with what is going on. http://nationaljuggernaut.blogspot.com/2009/09/this-cartoon-seemed-far-fetched-in-1948.html
Obama is a bad word at some Mississippi schools (ParentDish)
Nov 9th 2008 11:16PM I have a middle school student who has reported to me that the black students in her class are disrupting the class by chanting Obama's name when the teacher tells them to take their seats and be quite. They tell the teacher that now they are in control and all the whites will bow to them. She says the only racism she has witnessed has been towards white students. She is very confused and does not treat people different no matter their race. There will always be racism in this country as long as the black leaders and preachers are preaching hate from their podiums. I had great hopes that electing a black president would show the world that we as a nation do not tolerate racism. This is the chance for the black leaders to show the world they are able and ready to lead, not just blacks but all of the USA citizens.

AOL Straw Poll: Aug. 4-11 (Politics Daily)
Aug 6th 2008 12:56PM During his recent speech in Berlin, Barack Obama tried to ingratiate himself to the foreign crowd by claiming loudly that he was “a citizen of the world.”The problem is Obama’s self-proclaimed global “citizenship” appears to go well beyond just a rhetorical device to gain favor with a European throng full of pie-in-the-sky utopians. It seems the Democrats’ would-be president of the United States of America really believes that the rest of the world’s problems, and approval, trump the interests of Americans when it comes to how we live our lives and where our money is spent. While stumping for the support of his party’s leftist base, Obama proclaimed, "we can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times . . . and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK."And now he’s putting your money where his mouth is.A bill he has sponsored in the U.S. Senate, the so-called Global Poverty Act
(S. 2433), would raise the amount of American tax dollars allocated to United Nations’ redistribution efforts to $845 billion. That’s $2,500 from every American taxpayer, when many in our country already are struggling to make ends meet. And if you think taxes and energy costs are high now, wait until Obama’s global energy and production taxes are made law by the Nancy Pelosi/Harry Reid-run Democrat Congress. Is this what Pelosi meant when she said, “I’m trying to save the planet! I’m trying to save the planet!”?Senator Obama and the Democrats don’t seem to understand that American prosperity is a result of the hard work of American citizens in a free market economy. And that the American people already are the most generous in the world when it comes to global aid. Show Barack Obama that Americans don’t need foreign approval to lead their lives as they see fit, and that he ought to remember that he is running for president of the United States, not the United Nations.

Jon and Kate - Are they good enough parents for TV? (ParentDish)
Jul 30th 2008 11:00AM First I will give Kate credit for keeping up with 8 kids and keeping them organized. I guess you have to be a little OCD to keep it all straight. With that said I have observed her belittling and controlling of Jon. She needs to understand if you cut off a man's Balls and make him a whimp he will seek reassurance and comfort somewhere else. I have been married for thirty years I still Love my husband and I know he Loves me. We show each other respect and we treat each other fairly. Do we disagree, oh yes, do we argue about stuff , sure, but at the end of the day both of our self worth and dignity are in tact. Kate needs to let her husband be the husband and she needs to be the wife, define those roles and everyone wins.
