House Narrowly Passes Historic Health Care Bill (Politics Daily)

Nov 8th 2009 9:07AM I would like to take this opportunity to thank the 220 members of the House for voting for a comprehensive health care plan. With 46 million people not able to get health care because of rules made to eliminate their eligiblity by the private sector, I am sorry that our private sector was not interested in providing health care for all Americans. This has put the burden on you as our representatives to insure that all have access to comprehensive healthcare eliminating the "Death Squads" on private insurance companies that turn people down for life saving health care everyday.

Again thank you and continue to uphold the values that made this country great.

Oct 11th 2009 11:22AM The time has come for the banks to be Nationalized and their leaders, all bank leaders, put in jail.

Arbitrarily increasing interest rates and fees for credit is thievery and they should be treated as criminals.

This is a direct attack on the middle class and should be treated the same as 9/11. Criminals have attacked our society and should be arrested and placed in jail.

Kirk Cameron Defends Attack on 'Species' (PopEater)

Sep 26th 2009 8:12PM What proof does he have that there is a god. Has anyone seen him? I know that I haven't.

Darwinism is more believable than religion and faith. People that believe in God die from diseases that God could stop everyday. Darwinism is based on the scientific facts that are available today.

The Bible which is the source of all belief was written by men not by god and all religion is based on opinion not fact.

One fact that is true is that throughout the history of man religion and belief in God have killed more people than anything else. Now if people really believe what they preach and believe why has this happened?

Today we have a debate about healthcare where the religious groups are against healthcare for all. Our healthcare system shuts people out from life saving care and religious people that supposedly believe in saving people are against healthcare for all. How can you be more unchristian than that?

Obama Report Card (Politics Daily)

Mar 6th 2009 11:37PM Obama is the first president that is for the average American and not for the rich. I agree with his stance on all issues. His proposals on the economy, health care and the Iraq war are the right answer to these problems.

The only item I wish he would move faster on is getting out of Iraq. As long as we are in Iraq our economy will suffer the impact of this financial and human drain.

We learned absolutely nothing from Viet Nam. Our country took 20 years to recover from that war.

NFL Fines Darnell Dockett, Dwight Freeney $20,000 for Two Very Different Transgressions (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Jan 10th 2009 6:37PM Officiating is horrible. Penalty touchdowns are so common that no one complains anymore. Those calls on Sunday were pretty bad. In college football it is even worse. Some teams when they play at home get at least 3 pehalty touchdowns a game. I believe that they should stop calling holding because certain teams get away with it every play. Just watch USC or Oklahoma play.

Automobile brands set to disappear forever? (BloggingStocks)

Dec 7th 2008 8:56PM The whole problem with not bailing out the auto industry is the impact that the auto industry failing would have on manufacturing in the United States as a whole.

Manufacturing is critical for our national security. If it had not been for our excellence at manufacturing we would have lost world war 2.

As for cars I have only owned American cars and they all have had excellent quality. I have driven all but one American car to 100,000 miles plus with no problems. I drove the other car to 200,000 miles with no problems.

Americans must become focused on their own manufacturing base if we want to remain the world wide leader. Our manufacturing and technical expertise have allowed us to become the world wide leader in those areas.

Detroit has made numerous mistakes in their operations. However, many of these mistakes were forced on the auto makers because of the impact their slow down would have had on our economy in the 1970's, 1980's and yes even now. Our politicians often forced the settlement of strikes to insure that the economy kept growing and other indutries were not thrown into recession by a work stoppage in the auto industry.

Yes times have changed and the auto makers need to change. However, foreign car makers make autos cheaper because they do not have the retirement costs and health care costs which our government does not cover.

Although many of you are happy to purchase foreign cars, foreign manufactured tv's, computers because you are in the information or financial business and think your job will never go overseas, guess again. There is an Indian or Chinaman just waiting to be given a computer and access to the internet to do your job.

The time has come for Americans to bring manufacturing back to the US and again be proud to purchase american made goods.

I am an American and proud of it, are you?

Live Chat: Big 12 Championship and the Rest of the Season-Enders (Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog)

Dec 6th 2008 7:50PM Another winner for the officials. 2 calls made 2 touchdowns for the Gators. If Oklahoma and Florida play for the Championship I iwll not watch as both teams win with officiating help.

Sunday Hangover: It's Time To See Other People, Ohio State (Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog)

Sep 14th 2008 4:20PM Well here we are again after the debacle in LA. Well at some point reality has to set in that officiating in this game was horrible. OSU had penaltiies called everytime they had a big play, everytime. The pass interception the guy was clearly out of bounds and the fumble was clearly not recovered by USC.

2 touchdowns were called back because of holding penalties which the replays clearly did not show and penalties moved the chains downfield for USC. I knew the game was over before it began because of what happened in past USC games.

They always have the officiating in LA. Now all of you can say that this does not matter, but go back to the game. OSU does not get a holding call and a motion penalty on their first drive which both were questionable, touchdown. The second USC touchdown is replayed because of roughing the passer call which even the USC quarterback is unaware of, no touchdown. Either holding call is not called and OSU scores a touchdown, Suddenly the score is 14-7 OSU at half. Again none of these calls were verified on replay. In fact the roughing the passer call on OSU was not replayed just assessed.

The holding call on OSU was repeated by USC on their first touchdown run into the end zone and guess not called.

I know this does not matter but it does. Had these calls gone against USC the score would have been entirely different.

As ESPN says USC is God's team and we should suspend the regular season and just give the trophy to them.

Some Clinton Delegates Not Sold by Speech (Politics Daily)

Aug 27th 2008 9:23PM How can anyone vote for another old man with an IQ of 50 for President?

The man is still in that Viet Nam prison camp. That is all he talks about. I admire his service to our country but he is less capable of running the country than even Bush.

NO MORE REPUBLICANS, NO MORE BUSH CLONES, NO WAY, NO HOW, NO MCCAIN

I rever my freedom and McCain will take more freedoms away.
