Maureen Dowd Caught Plagiarizing? (Politics Daily)
May 18th 2009 1:52PM Yeah, its "news" when a thousand lazy "reporters" simply repeat what another "reporter" has written, isn't it?
If it turns out to be a fabricated lie, then the lazy "reporter" simply says they merely obtained their information from some other media outlet.
There isn't a criminal penalty for "reporter" lies to the public and there should be.
Serving a 6 month jail sentence for every act of lies issued to the public would be enough, maybe, to reign in the dirtbags who manipulate us on a daily basis to THEIR political point of view.
The "AP" media is famous for its lies and half truths.
Maureen Dowd Caught Plagiarizing? (Politics Daily)
May 18th 2009 1:48PM In case the general public has forgotten, the New York Times has often had a problem with its reporting staff engaging in lies and outright lies. Now this. If you want to see an excellent rental video based upon a famous case, check out "Shattered Glass." It documents the story of a dirtbag "reporter" who totally fabricates his articles for the mere goal of moving ahead in his career.
And we are being told, these days, that our loss of newspapers around the Country is a bad thing ;) Yep. A loss of people manipulating us is what it amounts to.
This case with the New York Times getting caught in a lie should be a warning to all its readers who follow its lead on voting suggestions.
Jerry Springer takes the money and runs to . . . Connecticut? (Daily Finance)
Mar 16th 2009 6:43PM Jerry Springer is amazing. The poor and uneducated allow him to make huge money off of them. But I guess thats why they're poor and uneducated... because they're stupid.
Five Online Dates You Should Avoid (Switched)
Aug 8th 2008 10:24PM The author stated, "most marriages end in divorce. Its just a fact of life." Well, consider this a public service announcement. MOST SEXUALLY ACTIVE PEOPLE HAVE ONE OR MORE FORM OF SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE (STD) AND SOME CANNOT BE CURED i.e. herpes.
Don't believe it? Review the Center For Disease Control statistics... available free online.
Its just a fact of life.
Sorry to have to warn you.
The McCain Girls Face the Music (Politics Daily)
Apr 14th 2008 3:17PM ever notice that McCain NEVER says anything outside of neutral? i.e. What do you think of the girls? A: they're wonderful.
he gives the same pathetic answer to everything... he's 100% bureaucrat. ask him what he has DONE for our country in all his decades of "service" and he can't say anything. he has done NOTHING! but he supposedly has "ideas" for America?
Why Atheists Are Such Lousy Debaters (News Bloggers)
Jan 4th 2008 8:43PM There is a local "newspaper" (laugh) near me that is about as biased and untrustworthy as they come. Their entire mission in life is to brainwash readers within its sphere of influence to the paper's point of view. They have an online comment board in which "all readers are allowed" to post. For some reason, though, mostly those that toe the paper's point of view manage to remain while those that expose the paper's hypocrisy get deleted. There are even rumors that the paper's "staff" (read high school interns) post their own comments to support, yes, the papers point of view! SO, AS YOU POINT OUT IN YOUR ESSAY, IT ISN'T HARD TO APPEAR TO BE THE WINNER WHEN YOU CONTROL THE BOARD. The KEY concept are the words "appear to be the winner." In their case, though, people are wise to their game. The paper has such a horrible left wing reputation that they're fading into bankruptcy, one day at a time. Moral of this post: You might control the appearance of the superior argument for a while, but your facade fades easily until only you think you're fooling people. Casey / Sonoma County, CA
Paris Hilton Loses Her Inheritance (News Bloggers)
Jan 1st 2008 4:52PM So Paris loses 97% of her inheritance? Which leaves her still a millionaire and a great looking, although immature millionaire, so whats to worry about? She has had a great, supportive family which alone makes her better off than most of us. Those without a supportive family always claim they don't exist... but they do. Just because your daddy & momma were druggies doesn't mean other people experience the same mess. Paris will be just fine.
Voter ID Law OK in Arizona (AOL Elections Blog)
Oct 21st 2006 4:11PM its only common sense that for something as important as voting, a person should have to identifiy himself/herself. otherwise, guess what! vote fraud.
you gotta show id to buy booze if you look < 25.
you gotta show id to enter a dance club if youngish.
you gotta show id to a cop when pulled over in a car.
you gotta show your id (library card) to get a book.
ANYONE WHO CLAIMS VOTING IS LESS IMPORTANT THAT THESE EXAMPLES IS LAME. AND ANYONE WHO WHINES THAT SHOWING ID WILL SCARE OFF LEGAL VOTERS IS A CRYBABY WHO NEEDS TO GROW UP.
