Nov 17th 2011 10:33PM PeTA would be much better off if it didn't do stupid things! I's always 'my way or the highway' with them. I don't want to give up meat, milk, or eggs, but it seems that rather than helping me get these things as humanely and ethically as I can reliably and cheaply, I am spat upon for not immediately dropping to all fours and grazing.

Jun 23rd 2011 10:46PM I have Graves', too, and it's AMAZING how much of your body that tiny organ plays havoc with! Dep depression with a constant idea of suicide, a very low tolerance for heat, bouts of nausea that struck w/o much warning, mood swings, insomnia, heart palpitations, and shivering to the point I couldn't hold a sheet of paper still! The only GOOD point was the easy weight loss I incurred until I was put on tapazole. I kept my thyroid (which has remained stable over several years now) in the hopes that someday, there WILL be a cure!

So long as they are clean, well-fitting, and unshredded, why should you care? Sep 7th 2010 1:11PM I agree w/KC - Matt is EXTREMELY self-centered. For me, the telling tale was during the family vacations, which always seemed to show him worrying about his precious farm, regardless of how many times Amy tried to engage the whole family. Some have commented on Matt's attempts to clean house. Well, I admit I haven't seen all the epis, but it seems he stuff he wants cleaned are impulsive and random and due to external forces. I can't find 'X', or I want to build 'X' and can't, so let's force the kids to evacuate their rooms. It wasn't so much he wanted to have a shape ship, but to show dominance and control and sothe his ego.
But I do agree the kids seem to be spoiled. Giving the youngest a cell phone and NOT taking it immediately after the first abuse, and then seemingly overlooking the theft of his sister's, raised an eyebrow for me.

Aug 17th 2010 10:23PM friend of mine had to take her pet to a substitute vet to remove a growth. she said he took a large amt of tissue, used 'black thread' stitches (the kind that have to be removed), gave the animal back to her before it was even awake, and told her the pain meds they'd given it on the table was perfectly adequate. Jeeze, I can't believe a guy like this is even in the field
