Jul 14th 2010 9:41PM hmm... while I do agree that people who text and walk can be obnoxious, I think that the example of getting hit by a car while texting is a little sensational. I mean, when you are operating a motor vehicle, you are in control of a deadly weapon and it is the driver's responsibility to make sure that other people don't get hurt, whether its a doofy teeanager texting and walking, a 90 year old grandma backing out of a spot in a parking lot or a 5 year old girl chasing a ball into the street.Other than disagreeing with the whole "it's your own fault for getting hurt" attitude, I totally agree that people should not walk and text if it is rude to other pedestrians (i.e. bumping in to people or walking so slowly because you're not paying attention and holding up people behind you).

May 26th 2010 4:01PM @Phillip actually, according to both wikipedia and the Internet Movie Database (IMDB) he was born in London, UK and is a citizen of both the UK and Canada. What source has told you otherwise?
