Oct 31st 2007 10:33AM It seems simple to me. UPS, FEDEX, etc. all deliver to just about everywhere. If Walmart were to deliver the goods to the regional points (where UPS, FEDEX, etc.) drivers get their loads. Then those drivers could deliver to your home same day. Walmart does not want to build the infrastructure needed. They want to partner with successful companies that already have the infrastructure. I've gotten everything from car seats to rare stamps through them (UPS, FEDEX, etc.)...a box of cereal should be a piece of cake (no pun intended). And I would use the service just to avoid the hassle of getting in the car, going in the store, well you get the point.
