4iThumbs overlay adds a tactile keyboard to your iPhone... sorta (video) (Engadget)

I believe he's meaning the developments that would allow phone screens to truly provide tactile feedback, such as raising and lowering.
The currently implemented reiterations of haptics merely provides a bit of feedback to confirm your press, a far cry from the tactile feedback a hard-keyboard can provide.
Or am I wrong? I only messed with the Hero for a few minutes.
Windows Mobile looks to be getting new native keyboard in 6.5.3 (Engadget)
Nov 25th 2009 4:42PM Looks highly undeveloped thus far, an improved keyboard is a VERY welcome change for WinMo. HTC's offerings are nice, but WinMo definitely needs a native onscreen keyboard that doesn't complete suck for finger usage.

Nov 14th 2009 3:24PM It's a tough call since none of the desktops on the site are listed having 1TB hard drives.
Whenever more information gets posted, try and see if you can grab a shot of the inside or a listing of the available slots on the motherboard. HP does some funky stuff with the available ports on their motherboards, ie: My friend's didn't have a PCI-E slot, one of our customer's computers lacked any PCI slots at all.
Just a word of caution is all.
Microsoft's dual-screen Courier booklet emerges, isn't near production (Engadget)
Sep 23rd 2009 5:05AM I'm sure with such a big screen and advanced touch registration, you could just create a roll-out keyboard you can sit on the screen to make it easier to touch type. :]

Sep 18th 2009 4:55PM I can see this being levied as a low-power solution for casual web/office editing.
As opposed to running a full pledged cpu [Core2/i7/etc] and gpu that would produce a large amount of heat, use more power, and create more noise [I'm sure fan speeds could be lowered for Atom use], you could could simply boot up on the Atom side.

Sep 7th 2009 3:34PM Having a console would be pretty nice.

Sep 7th 2009 1:35AM I had to start using a mouse pad when I noticed that my mouse's pads were starting to rub away some of my desk's paint.

Aug 25th 2009 3:47PM There hasn't been anything THAT BIG added to iPods for a very long time.
Other than those lovely $10 firmware upgrades.
