I'll pass on the puppy mill dogs and irresponsible backyard breeders and save a homeless pet locally. There are legitimate rescue groups for all breeds out there even if you want to be picky about breed, age, sex or color. www.petfinder.com is a great resource to help find a companion animal.

They butcher the few baby seals that are still alive on the little ice that is left to make some extra pocket change. I know of six people in my life that have been sexually abused and only one was brave enough to go to trial in the seven year time period allowed to prosecute. There is such a stigma with the victims of sexual abuse that some never discuss what happened to them.
You are absolutely right, child molesters should never be released from prison because sexual predators can never be rehabilitated. But because the laws are lacking in the areas regarding child molesters doesn't mean laws protecting animals should fall short as well.
It's up to us to urge law makers to fix the laws. What have you done to make changes in the laws?
