X-Ray Spex's Poly Styrene Battling Cancer (Spinner)

Feb 23rd 2011 11:05PM Xray Spex are one of my favorite punk bands and I still have my tshirt. Who can forget when "Oh bondage" was covered for the film Sid & Nancy? Classic, iconic and freakin' awesome! If you haven't heard of it, doesn't make it not good enough for news, it just means that you probably lead a boring life. Good luck to you Poly Styrene.

Feb 22nd 2011 11:45PM Hahahahahahahahahaha... Really? If someone falls for a scam as stupid as that, they deserve to lose out on $3,000. I'm not trying to be mean, but really? lol. Hey lady, I have a bridge to sell you!

Bold Hair Hues Lead to Suspension for 6th-Grader (ParentDish)

Feb 17th 2011 9:47PM I had blue hair in school back in the day and no one cared... Now I'm a biologist. The schools need to learn to pick their battles and self-expression should not be frowned upon.

Dumbest Job Scam Ever (AOL Jobs)

Feb 12th 2011 10:24AM "he was a sex offender who had been convicted of rape and kidnapping."

Why do these people keep getting out of prison to be allowed to hurt innocent women and children? When they get out, they are afraid to get caught, so the next time they kill. Either chemically castrate them to remove the urge or keep them in prison forever.

Confessions of a Mortician (Funeral Director) (AOL Jobs)

Feb 6th 2011 8:23PM When my father died five years ago, I used the same family-owned funeral home that was used for my father's parents and other family members. I was given a menu with prices, yes, I call it a menu because that's what it looked like; the prices for even the smallest of services were outrageous! I rented a casket, had a small, closed-casket service at the cemetery in the chapel outside of the room that he was cremated in and it still cost around $5,000. So, please spare me bull that funerals are not expensive because they are a freaking rip off. It's not like I was going to bargain shop while I was grieving my dead father and the least they could have done was given me some options, especially because he didn't have life insurance.

No More Kevin Trudeau Infomercials? Not So Fast... (WalletPop)

Nov 29th 2010 4:31PM You don't need to purchase a scam artist's book if you want to lose weight... If you follow this free advice you will lose weight: Stop drinking soda, cut out all products that contain refined sugars. That's right, you'll have to drop the Twinkie and eat an apple instead. Drink as much water and tea as possible. Cut out red meat and only stick to lean meats and fish, or go vegetarian. Yes, you'll get enough protein, soy products have more protein than any meat product available and there are other ways of obtaining protein, e.g. peanut butter. Eat foods high in fiber and whole grains. Remember, your cells can't distinguish whether sugar came from pasta or Skittles, so eat pasta, bread and white rice in moderation. Finally, exercise... Walk at minimum, 30 minutes per day and try to lift light weights. If you practice the above, to a T, without cheating on the plan, you will lose A TON of weight. There you go, I just saved you a lot of money and disappointment. You're welcome.

Facebook's Overhauled Groups Ripe for Abuse and Embarrassment (Switched)

Oct 11th 2010 12:56AM Facebook is the world's answer to the telephone...it isn't going away and will soon be the most common source of communication; who knows, it may even make the phone obsolete! Because it is no longer just a fun website, and instead, an actual tool for means of communicating with the world, someone needs to properly regulate the site. I think at this point, the governments of the world are eating up the fact that they finally found a way to track people the cheap and easy way.

Twenty years ago I saw a program about big brother and the new world order; it was said that in the future, we will have no privacy left and it won't be taken away by force, but rather by something that is seemingly innocent and convenient, something that people will be drawn to and eager to sign up for; that thing is facebook.
