Obama Tax Deal: President Obama's Right to Compromise on Tax Cuts (BV Black Spin)

Dec 8th 2010 12:05AM Fast forward the debate on tax cuts two years and see the error Pres. Obama made. The GOP position is make the tax cuts permanent. The Dems argue raise taxes for all? Are you stuck on stupid? The GOP would win that debate and they could say Obama supported their position but he doesn't have the balls to make them permanent. Obama flipped and he will flop. Dems should filabuster this bill to save the Party.

Obama Tax Deal: President Obama's Right to Compromise on Tax Cuts (BV Black Spin)

Dec 7th 2010 1:02PM It's complete and total lunacy to believe the Pres did the right thing permitting the GOP to use the unemployed as a bargaining chip to get billions for the richest of the rich. The Pres failed because he didn't realize the GOP would not permit a tax hike to go into effect due to their actions. Obama failed to use his power and he made a terrible deal flipping on a key political issue. Obama looks like he stands for nothing. It's bad for foreign policy, the war, and future election prospects. Democrats would be better off saying, "No Deal." Dump this deal and make the GOP realize Democrats stand for something. We stand for you, not millionaires and billionaires. Obama is politically a liability. He's the ultimate "Flip Flopper."

Angela Burt-Murray: Essence Editor-in-Chief Resigns (BV Black Spin)

Nov 7th 2010 8:26AM Staying true to your roots isn't about selling ads. It should be a core principle of doing business. Burt-Murray violated this and she is out. What will become of Essence? It's just a matter of time before the advertizing drops and it becomes irrelevant. That's they way they do business.

Despite Barack's Unpopularity Hillary Says She Wont Run for Prez in 2012 (BV Black Spin)

Nov 5th 2010 9:01PM Politics end at the water's edge and where is Hillary when asked this stupid question...New Zealand? She has no plans to run but a divided Democratic Party could give rise to any scenario. It could also give rise to a Tea Party revolution. The water is way too deep to wade into the water. Hillary is smart keeping her powder dry. Dumb questions get dumber answers.

NFL Should Push Important Cause, Soften Ignorance on Vicious Hits (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Oct 19th 2010 1:13AM Just like in the past, football outgrew the equiptment it was currently using and it changed to something that worked better. The NFL should look into a product liability lawsuit against the makers of helments and push for a better product. The helments pop off and the materials used could be changed to absorb more of the blow. Innovation is the answer. It always has been and always will be.

Democrats Spend to Sway Black Voters: Why Should We Listen? (BV on Money)

Oct 18th 2010 2:36AM President Obama made a huge mistake when he slammed the White House doors on some of the people who helped him win election. Anyone with a "Petty Grievance" or who did a "Childish Thing" need not apply for a job in the Obama administration. Obama took the passion out of the people who supported him. He's trying to get it back on his terms. The only way to heal the wounds of this forced seperation would be a complete apology and truth telling. Open the doors and his heart to the truth.

Ryan Mallett Suffers Concussion in Arkansas' Game Against Auburn (Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog)

Oct 16th 2010 10:12PM Concussion after concussion, how long or how many must occur before "Sports" decides to file a product liability suit over the failure of helments to work properly? We see more and more athletes injured from concussions. How many does it take to make the manufacturers rethink the design and function of the helment? Sue, I say, sue.

Tina Knowles on Miss Tina Line at Walmart and the Importance of Plus-Size Clothing (BV on Style)

Oct 11th 2010 4:47AM A "Plus-Size" clothing line at Wal-Mart is an economic boom for the company. This company has a policy of charging more for larger sizes. How can you give cudos for larger sizes when the policy is to exploit "Fat" people?

Karen Owen's Duke University PowerPoint 'Sex List' Makes Us Sad (Lemondrop)

Oct 8th 2010 6:40AM Imagine if this story became a Rutgers? Just think of the horror if Jezabel or one of the 13 conquests decided they couldn't live with the shame. We'd have a best seller and a national scandal on our hands. At what price fame?
