Abstinence pants, because chastity belts are so 17th century {ParentDish}

Jun 8th 2008 12:03PM Commercial greed and stupidity..

I envision the conversation between parents and daughter something like : MOM:"Well, great..you,are pregnant...Why didn't you pay attention to the message on your pants?"

Daughter: Well, they were wadded up on the floor near the bed and we were going at it so hard and fast we really couldn't have read it anyway. Ya know mom...now that I think about..the money we wasted on those pants . we probably shoulda spent on birth-control"

Driver Crashes Car While Reaching For Cell Phone (But Saves Cup Of Coffee) {Switched.com}

Mar 29th 2008 2:19AM I want a large sign on my car telling drivers on cell phones to 'get the hell away from me'. I have been hit twice by driving cellphone users and almost totaled by a numbskull broad in a large SUV that ran a stoplight because she was dialing...missed me by inches.

Annoying Restaurant Trends {AOL Food Blog}

Feb 16th 2008 7:42PM First: I always leave a tip regardless of the dining experience. The tip is never less than 20% of the bill and frequently %25.

I do this for a couple of reasons: the server usually has to split their tips with other staff. Most restaurants where I dine, I can't imagine much of the staff actually being able to live off the wages they are earning.

A perk to this, I found out, though not my intention or reason, is that I find that an 'appreciative' server treats me really well in the future.

Now : The only complaints< in 95% of the dining out experiences...I find a great lag time in drink refills...quite often, the server is very busy, but also quite often, I have watched server's standing idly behind a counter while pretending to not notice the customers.

Quite frequently, I have found server;s who remove my glass for a refill and then forget to come back with the refill..this happens alot ..more than 50% of my dining experiences.

I know the 'tricks' to get more tips, like geting down at the customers level and stuff..I find this rude..especially because I will give them the tip anyway.

I agree, NO service personnel should ever be 'dressed down' in public..as if they are somehow a 'lower class' Most server's I have found are wither HARD wrking family people /and/or people working jobs while attending school..actually, many are high achiever's.

So I guess, my main peeve is forgetfulness and inatentiveness by a server especially when there isn't a lot of customers.

But, I still give the tip..becasue usually athere are a number of people in the cahin of service and I dont penalize them for a any single oerson,

Model Eats Runway ... Twice {TMZ}

Oct 5th 2006 11:05AM I give her kudos for wearing those shoes which looked like the culprits in the fall.
A little sad that only this one humiliating incident was picked up so that millions of strangers could get a chuckle out of some hard working soul's
humiliation. I am glad there are no cameras around when I make mistakes, wow, because this society is merciless!
