Wildlife Filmmaker Chris Palmer Says Nature Documentaries Are Manipulative (Moviefone Blog)

Oct 3rd 2010 12:27PM I completely disagree with you in regards to the crocidile hunter...I watched his over dramatised shows and felt he was the epitome of animal exploitation. He would goad the animals into aggression and then act like he was in real danger when he was creating what danger there was himself...total BS...I didnt wish him death but mother nature seemed to take care of 'him going away'...no sympathy

Student loan horror stories: What's the worst that can happen? (WalletPop)

Aug 23rd 2010 3:09PM I have often lamented my decision about dropping out of college because of the inability to pay for it, but after reading this article, it may not have been that bad of a decision. A big issue with a college education these days is it revelence and its life span. Getting a markerting degree in the 70's is worthless today...as well a many other fields. Engineering , science, medical will hold....but there is better money to be made in many other fields that dont require degrees. A friend of mine who is doing well opened up a truck shop and while the rest of us are struggling, his business is booming....a lowly mechanic?

Survey Says: Business Owners Still Troubled by Economy (AOL Small Business)

Aug 21st 2010 4:36PM 2 things to fix this economy
1. Repeal nafta and put up significant trade barriers to any country that doesnt have a labor cost parity...China...and most of Indonesia. Domestic manufacturing will revitalize
2. Shut the southern border down and stop the influx of cheap labor undermining wages.
Anything less than this is just lip service to the effects and not the cause

7000 Fake Rolex Watches Crushed By US Law Enforcement (Luxist)

May 28th 2010 11:29AM tapping the sunglass makers in this article is perfect. I retailed sunglasses for years and found , although there is some difference in glass and such, the actual difference in hard cost of the product was neglible. The high priced glasses were little different then the cheap ones...you are merely buying the name
