I also don't think he'll get enough of a majority to win the election because of this. Because I really don't think the American people are ready for a libertarian president. Not yet, anyway. But if he decides to split with the party and run as an independent, then I predict the first African-American president in the history of the country.

Apr 30th 2008 2:05AM The media just love stories like this. They can't wait for a tragedy like this to happen so they can make sensationalistic judgments about a video game. These crimes, bad as they were, would have barely made local news if they didn't pertain, however remotely, to an "evil" video game!
The games are for entertainment, nothing more. They don't breed criminals or sociopaths. Now, let's back off the games and place blame where blame is due.

If her paranoia was as she described, the she didn't get rid of it just by wishing it away! Oh--unless she turned to "Scammin-tology", where you're able to mask your psychoses with gobbledygook and doublespeak.

Feb 12th 2008 3:52PM Steering that thing, I can imagine, would be about like trying to steer a cannonball. Such cars take drag racing to a whole new level and I respect those who can handle such beasts.
And comparing drag racing to track racing is apples and oranges. Drag racing might no doubt be judged as "easier" by armchair critics, but put such people behind the wheel of even an 8 second car and see how they do! It's a bit more than I can handle nowadays, at age 55! I'll just stick with my "slow" 12 second stockers, thank you very much.
