Feb 8th 2010 5:08PM When I was pregnant with my son, I was also urged to have an abortion, although I chose otherwise. I had several tests done, including amneosentisis (sp?), and 3-D ultrasound, along with genetic testing. I was told that my son not only had a facial deformity, but markers for downs and several other birth defects. I went ahead with my pregnancy, and my son was born with a cleft lip, which was repaired at 5 months old. He is the best thing that ever touched this earth, he is 8 yrs old, and is thriving in every possible way. Thank god I didn't listen to these doctors, or I wouldn't be seeing my son's beautiful big blue eyes every morning when he wakes up. He's my miracle baby!!! Love You JAKE!!
