May 18th 2010 6:42AM I can't quit FB, sadly. My entire family is on there, and it's the only way we keep in touch. I have over 100 cousins, as my dad is the youngest of 14 and my mom is the third of 7. Before FB, we barely kept in touch, only seeing each other and talking at family gatherings. Now we know what is going on with each other on a daily basis.

May 17th 2010 5:29AM Actually, it's David Prowse who was in the Darth Vader suit, except in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, where Vader is played by Hayden Christiansen, and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, when Luke takes the helmet off of him, the person who plays Anakin at that point is Sebastian Shaw.

James Earl Jones is the voice of Darth Vader, he was never in the suit.

The actors who played the other characters mentioned:
C-3PO - Anthony Daniels
R2-D2 - Kenny Baker
Yoda - Frank Oz (voice in the movies, puppeteer most of the time except parts of RotJ), Mike Quinn (puppeteer in parts of RotJ), and Tom Kane (Clone Wars). Wendy Froud (then Wendy Midener) built/designed Yoda.

Apr 1st 2010 7:00AM Bull. What these signs say is NOT "we do not provide abortions" but "we do not provide medical services". THAT'S what the protest is about. The signs are LIES. They DO provide medical services, and every other type of service a woman in a crisis pregnancy may need, except abortion. There's no reason to not say "we do not provide abortions". However, telling people that a medical clinic isn't a medical clinic is a bunch of LIES.

These centers have helped so many women. You really just want to steer women away from places that would really help them instead of coaxing them into abortions like your buddies at PP. I have NEVER met a woman who actually wanted an abortion, or one who abortion had helped. My aunt died from alcohol abuse due to PTSD from an abortion she was forced into. I wish there had been a CPC around to help her get out of that situation.

Jan 31st 2010 4:13AM The only reason that group is opposing the stamp is because Mother Teresa was a Catholic who opposed abortion, and the FFRF was begun to oppose Christians who opposed abortion.

That said, it's JUST A STAMP! It's not like they're putting a statue of her in the nation's capital. People who were not even Catholic had great respect for her, like the Dalai Lama and Nawaz Sharif (PM of Pakistan). She was given a Nobel Peace Prize for work in promoting peace, which, again, was not for being Catholic.

Also, USPS previously released a Ghandi stamp in the '60s, and the work he did was for the Islamic faith. Why is it so bad that USPS release a Mother Teresa stamp?

Getting up in arms about the whole situation is just silly. It really is.
