Dec 21st 2009 11:03AM Weddings bring on a lot of stress for everyone. I'm the mother of the groom and can attest to the need for a stress reliever the closer we get to the final day. I remember getting hives the day I married my husband for the second time. Now that is stress or perhaps a subliminal warning. LOL

Mar 26th 2009 11:21PM Fixing the economy is beyond anyone's expertise at this point. We all need to tighten our belts because its going to be a long and bumpy ride until we come out on the other side of this recession. As Americans we know we will emerge from this period in our history like we have so many others. Hopefully we will all learn from it. It's also a time to pay attention to those who band together to get things done and those that spend their time saying it can't be done. I think of the movie "Titanic" and the different kinds of people there were on that ship while it was sinking. During times like this you really get to see what people are really made of.

Wendy Culpepper "Pretty in Pink" Earrings - Stylelist Giveaway! (Stylelist)

Mar 16th 2009 9:03PM I've worn pink or some shade of pinks and reds most of my life because it goes so well with my skin tone which is mediterrean olive. My mother started that trend when I was a child and I found that it really works for me. Not to mention the man in my life really responds well to me in those pink tones.

Engadget's recession antidote: win a Mint 130 Digital Music Station! (Engadget)

Mar 16th 2009 7:05PM I would offer my ideas on fixing the economy but given the excess number of politicians, pundits and armchair presidents who are taking every "op" they can get to spout off...I will demonstrate some restraint and try to clean up my own financial house first.
