Nov 17th 2009 4:57PM anybody can say all they want that a team bought the world series. but it doesnt matter. any team could spend billions and billions of dollarson players and still not win the world series. i think some people forget that no matter how much these guys get paid they still have to come out and play a 162 game season and their paychecks mean nothing to how the game is played and won and lost. congrats to the new york yankees!
