Mar 31st 2010 12:11AM Ithink that the home renovations or razing in order to eliminate LIFE THREATENING conditions is wonderful - granted the little girls in the Vegas home have a serious medical condition. But the superfine extremes (How does $12000 stained glass artwork help these kids from a lung infection? Hmmm... I wonder.) Habitat has the right idea and ABC was trying to cash in on a brilliant, existing plan. Maybe they ought to be putting their energies into the affordable improvements. A stove with an oven and 4 burners that work. Septic systems that function and toilets that flush, sinks that drain... A front door that is weather tight... No bugs, no rodents, no mold, no water damage, no termites... That's the ticket... Not granite countertops and a spa tub!

Sep 24th 2006 10:55AM Okay. Fast food as a general rule is a no-no. But how many folks out there don't enjoy "naughty food" once in a while? Good for McDonalds for the offer. And for the record to the doofus who corrected saling vs. sailing? That was in reference to garage SALES not SAILS. Frankly, I've never attended a garage sail in my life.
