For anything other than sports the DVR is fine.

Jul 31st 2010 11:29PM NFL: HDTV (unless there is a MNF game here). I have Sunday Ticket. Would have to miss the others if I went to a game (which is why MNF is awesome).
College football: LIVE! There is nothing like being in a college stadium on Saturday! Gig 'Em :)
