With the crisis going on in Libya and the history that was made in Egypt the best you can do is write about a party at the White House. Boyce it seems like you're the one who should be insulted. With all the current events happening around this country and other countries it seems that you're only able to write about black events, no matter how trivial they are. Maybe your bosses don't trust you to broaden your journalism skills. Anytime a man of your caliber is reduced to writing about rappers, the best dressed at the grammys and parties at the White House, I would say you should be insulted indeed.

What black people need to be upset about is folks like Boyce, Tavis Smiley, Cornell West, etc telling us that we need to be offended. I can think for myself.
