Boy, How You've Changed: Nine Big Mascot Makeovers (WalletPop)

Jan 25th 2011 10:26PM I should point out that the Superman one is not permanent, thankfully. It's just a "what if?" continuity, I believe. Anyway, changing Supes NEVER works and it shouldn't. He shouldn't be moody, edgy, etc. That's Batman's job. Superman is supposed to give us hope during rough times, to be the light in the darkness. (And he DEFINITELY should not be reimagined as a Twilight reject)

(Reply to this post if you agree, it'll be good to get the word out to future comic writers)

Top 15 Christmas TV Episodes Ever (AOL TV)

Dec 25th 2010 10:49AM I hereby nominate the Justice League episode "Comfort and Joy" for inclusion; three great (and sometimes heartwarming) stories featuring the Flash spanning the globe for a hot new toy, Green Lantern and Hawkgirl discovering each other's type of holiday fun, and Superman inviting Martian Manhunter to Smallville for Christmas. It's must-see each year for us.

A lot of great Christmas eps. come from across the pond in the U.K. Especially the Vicar of Dibley one, where Dawn French's title character has to survive eating numerous Christmas lunches with all her friends.

Agree about the MTM inclusion, but what you might not know is that it's actually "Christmas and the Hard Luck Kid II." The first one was actually an episode of That Girl, written by the same people. (It also belongs on this list) And no love for any of the Happy Days Christmases??? The Fonz does not dig that!

The Five Worst Food Network Shows (AOL TV)

Nov 20th 2010 10:46AM I think people dislike Sandra Lee because she was dating a higher-up at the FN when she got her own show, or so I heard. So everyone was all "OMG nepotism"

6 Lamest Remakes of Great TV Shows (AOL TV)

Oct 23rd 2010 11:06AM P.S. then again you might question my taste in Avengers, as I also didn't think Tara King was a bad character at all (Linda Thorson and the character were just in the wrong place at the wrong time; last series, coming after Diana Rigg...)

6 Lamest Remakes of Great TV Shows (AOL TV)

Oct 23rd 2010 11:04AM Newhart? Bad? FAIL.

Or did you mean the one where he wrote "Mad Dog" comics?
