Mar 18th 2010 10:10PM It does no good to mix vinigar and soaps, like the home made laundry detergent. The acid just neutrilizes the sodium in the soaps.
I'd be concerned about using vinegar in laundry, it may affect the treatment of cottons, causing them to rip.
Thinks solvents-every liquid in the house is a solvent, vegetable oil, vinegar, alcohol, etc., it is just a matter of finding the right household liquid that wont destroy what you are trying to clean. Pam works great on many things.
