With that as a given; I must respectfuly say that this sotomayor has a tint of racism in her, and as such should not be elevated to this god like post of Justice.

Who is it that is formulating this bailout plan?
It is good old ,fell on his head, and now is in la la land, prez bush, and your forever do not the right thing congress.
None of you can possibily really believe that any real sound workable plan any of you may come up with would actualy be placed as the end result by all those baffoons no matter how good all your ideas may be and many of you all have some good ones.
Wake up America this is your Government that is formulating this plan.
Heck I am willing to bet that the same stumble bums who caused all this mess will still be well rewarded.
Take notes on this post and see how much money the fat cats actualy make.
By the way that includes screaming financial commentators who own GS Stock.

Sep 20th 2008 1:41PM The number one problem that was the ultimate cause of this all was that the government dictated who could get loans because the rights of minorities were being infringed on as they were being refused loans.
So loans had to be made to those that could not afford them in the first place.
This was the prime mover.
It was followed by a run up of home values far in acess of what they were worth.
Homes worth 30,000, at best, suddenly became 45,000 on up.
The values placed on property also went sky high to pay for programs enacted by the Government.
Since this was a governmental problem to begin with, its only fitting that the Government pay for it.
