Sep 19th 2006 1:48PM How awesome is it that we have the choice to live in these amazing cities? I live in Bakersfield CAlifornia and the cost of living is on the low side for CA, but the amenities are great. If someone wanted to live in CA, this is one of the last cities to consider, housing is still affordable, we have lots of good jobs. Nightlife is not comparable to the cities mentioned in this article, but if it's family life you are looking for, this is a great option. We are within 2 hours to everything, beaches, snow, mountains, Hollywood Bowl, etc. I write this only because I hear about so many people moving out of CA and if you know what it costs to live in the major cities and compare quality of life, you can empathize.
