Vernon Forrest One of True Good Guys (Fanhouse - Kevin Blackistone)
Jul 27th 2009 9:42AM Mr. Forrest proved, that regardless of one's color, it is what is in your heart and actions that count. He rose above all the obstacles usually strewn in the path of people of color and rose to the top. He reached the top not only as a boxer, but as a concerned human being. His actions are a lesson and a call to each of us to help the less fortunate. I'm sure the Lord greeted him with "welcome home thou good and faithful servant".
British Regulators Move to Quiet Obnoxiously Loud Commercials (Switched)
May 15th 2008 8:18AM I propose that a law be passed that all audio transmissions (TV,DVD,TAPES,DISCS,.RADIO PROGRAMMING ETC.) be at a standard level. Let us change the volume to suit what we consider to be a comfortable level!
Hot Seat: Obama Solve Rev. Wright Problem? (Politics Daily)
Mar 19th 2008 2:56PM I am tired of hearing all this talk about race, about compensation to negros etc. How about my people who had their lands confiscated by "Illegal immigrants" (the white men). We weren't kept as slaves, we were shot and killed on sight. This is all in the past. Lets forget race and the past, look to today and tomorrow and elect the best person for the job! We are all brothers and sisters and are in this together.
For Obama, the Race is Joined (Politics Daily)
Mar 18th 2008 4:09PM The American people are tired of campaigns on all levels of Government where the candidates air the dirty linen of the other guy or gal. Their presentations result in the voter voting for the lesser of the two crooks. The American people are tired of being lied to on all levels of Government. We want people who are honest and will represent the people who elected them. We shouldn't have to care about whites/vs blacks, abortions, and all other unrelated programs in our elections. We want the best person who will do the best job running our different levels of Government, be that person black, yellow, red or white. On a National level we have to get out of the financial mess we are in. We have to stop being the world's police force while every other nation sits by and watches, then they have the nerve to criticize our efforts. We have to stop giving our hard earned money to ingrates who at the first chance they got would stab us in the back. "Charity begins at home", keep that money here, build schools, help financially distressed bright pupils get a college education so they can be our doctors, engineers and scholars of the future. Build housing for the working poor and make sure they get medical services and prescriptions at affordable prices. Treat our Veterans better, right now between 25 and 30 % of the homeless are veterans. They used to guarantee a veteran he or she would get their old job back, Now when they return, big crooked business tells them "sorry, in order to save costs, we've eliminated your old job". This country has so many ills, it's about time we addressed them ourselves and told the rest of the world to "take a Hike and hold your hand on your butt".
