Nov 25th 2010 1:46AM If you take time to think about the whole Thanksgiving story, she is correct. It is also a shame that so many millions of turkeys get slaughtered for this tradition. It's pretty gruesome. Giving thanks for what we have is a fine thing - celebrating the take-over from the native Americans is sad. Maybe we should put the pilgrim hats away and start something new.
