Jul 2nd 2009 6:31PM My point being that I prefer the comic to be about the heroism and action, not about sexual preference or who is kissing whom. Really could care less if Peter Parker loves Mary Jane Watson or Flash Thompson. I don't need to know that. I prefer my heroes to be heterosexual, but don't need it to be so. Just as Superman doesn't need to proclaim he is straight , any of those gay heroes don't need to proclaim they are gay. Just let heroism and actions speak for themselves.

Jul 2nd 2009 6:08PM All you people attacking the people who think that comics are for kids get a grip. I have been a comic fan since the age of four, more so then than now. I hated the electric company, but watched the whole show to get 2 minutes of spiderman. As for keeping romance out(at least limit it) of comics is a good point. The last Superman and Spiderman Movies might have been better if they left about 50% of the romance out and replaced it with action or even cheesieness. Don't turn old heroes gay(imagine the Hulk turns gay and destroys San Francisco looking for some butt), that is ludicrous, make new gay heroes and market them for homosexuals and lesbians. I really don't want to know. I think lesbian porn is great, but leave it out of the comics. Yeah it's great to see Clark stammer after Lois, but too much is a buzzkill.

Aug 27th 2008 12:39PM I am tired about all the racism charges. It will not help you win votes for Obama. People will just spite you for posting your racist view on this site. Everyone on here saying Clinton and McCain supporters are racist are actually racist themselves. You big biggots. Yes, maybe some are,but you sound "ghetto" when you liberally throw out the race card. It's sort of like the drug dealer in jail saying the man is holding him down. How about you hold yourself down by selling drug. How about if you tried hard when you went to high school or college. I think to myself what I could of been if I tried harder in school as opposed to blaming my woes on others. Yes , politicians have an affect on all of us in general, but there is nothing that says with hard work you can't better yourself in life. Look at Obama he had many adversities in his life. He came from diverse parents in a time where there was almost no tolerance for interracial relationships. He has become a candidate for the most powerful position in the world. He has a law degree and millions of dollars. He did this despite racism. So the next time you want to blame racism because you are not happy or getting your way, ask yourself,"What have I done to make what I want happen?" If your answer is to write a blog about how racism is keeping you from your goal, you are truly knocking on the worng door.

Aug 27th 2008 12:18PM Vote for McCain because we say so!!!!! He is a psuedo war hero. He has 2 wives. He will continue the Bush war doctrine. He realizes the we have made the country worse over the lasy 4 years,he forgot we made the country worse over the previous 4 years also. Make sure you vote with us just because Obama has no experience and is only a rockstar(I've never heard any of his records). Make sure you vote for McCain , an imprisoned,tortured war hero is exactly what you need running this country. McCain in 2008 because you deserve to get more of the same as opposed to get something new out of an inexperienced rockstar. I am not John McCain and I do endorse this AD.

Aug 5th 2008 4:33PM The discrimination part is wrong, but the priciple of the idea is great. How many times have you been stuffed on a flight between people that look like NFL linemen. That is not a good flight. They take up their seat and some of yours.If they are going to do this, they should have special seating area for these people so they can fit in one seat. I am 210 lbs myself and have trouble if I get a middle seat. Whenever possible I upgrade to business or first class to have a proper amount of room if the flight is over 2 hrs long. So that equates to pretty much the same thing.

Aug 1st 2008 3:40PM Many of you realize that s#@t rolls downhill. Well you have to realize that it starts at the top with the President(not the Congress). If a business loses millions of dollars most of the time they fire the CEO, not the board of directors. Sure plenty of underlings get blamed and fired at first, but in the end when those firing don't work the CEO has to go. Bush was given 4 years too many, by hook or crook. Let's stop bleeding the average and poor Americans dry. If you invested in Exxon/Mobile and made 20million last year it is not going to hurt you to only make 10 million this year.
