Eyeing growth, McDonald's plans 1,000 new stores (Daily Finance)

Nov 13th 2009 2:45AM Gerard,
no greens? what about green salads. They did try a salad bar back in the 80's or so but I guess the demand wasn't there. At one time they did have a variety of Salads but if there's no demand... If enough people ask, maybe a side salad could be a part of their value menu instead of fries? Might be an interesting experiment. Consistancy would be the big problem.

Eyeing growth, McDonald's plans 1,000 new stores (Daily Finance)

Nov 13th 2009 2:36AM One t hing about Mcdonald's is they are willing to make exceptions to fit the local market. Their Haupia and Taro pie's may go over here well in Hawaii but I doubt if you could find saimin on any other big chains menu's. It's not all that good but on a cold or windy day that may be just the thing. I've never seen THAT at a wendy's. Only Mcdonalds and our local fast food shops have that

Landlord Does Time in Own Property (Rented Spaces)

Nov 11th 2009 3:45PM under the terms of his senance he is confined to his residence. He may not be able to work on his property even if he was inclined to do this. Not every tennant is lazy or an animal that trashes their unit. With the economy what it is, it could be a family that lost their house and needs a much cheaper place to live. Painting the tennants all with the same brush is unfair.

Landlord Does Time in Own Property (Rented Spaces)

Nov 11th 2009 3:31PM Vic,
he may not have put the needles and fecees in the shed but maintanance and repairs on the property would be the responsibilty of the management company that he runs. He had been cited for these problems. It takes time for this kind of thing to go through the judicial system. Hopefully it will make a difference but probably not.

Fans Walk Out on Tracy Morgan During Raunchy Routine (PopEater)

Nov 11th 2009 3:47AM Clist isn't low enough.this type of comedy has only one place... The screen before hiring list. For comedian's stuff that is a waaay to explicit.

'Sesame Street' Dig at POX News Draws Backlash, Rebuke From PBS (PopEater)

Nov 6th 2009 2:27PM Theresa,
You can always find a problem if you look hard enough. This parody is well within Sesame Street's normal mode. Of course this would be "trashy" news, Oscar the grouch is involved. Oscar is a grouch that likes trash. This is like Bert's Pigeon TV network. Placido Flamingo, Placido Domingo, Fox. Pox anyone notice a patern.

'Scrubs' to Premiere December 1 on ABC (Inside TV Blog)

Oct 31st 2009 7:59PM Well, we'll just have to see. ER got along fine without the original cast. I'm not sure how comparable these two shows are since I don't watch Scrubs. The law and order series may have done at least one full fotation of both prosecutors and cops

Blind Teen Scores Touchdown (ParentDish)

Oct 19th 2009 9:36PM I kind of hate to be a wet blanket. I like the idea of what they did, but I'm not sure it was the RIGHT thing to do. yes he scored a touchdown but I think it would have been better if they let him do his own running and sort of earned the touchdown instead of bundling him up like that. My brother is disabled. so I have some idea about having a handicapped individual. I'm not sure how much vision he had, but it seems he was led to the end zone. I think the story about the boy with downs syndrome handled it in a better maner, He was shooting, so he made some effort to earn the score.

'Jeopardy!' Contestant Violates Rules, Appears Twice (PopEater)

Oct 17th 2009 3:20AM just a simple list wouldn't do it. That is easy to defeat by changing your name. The most obvious is to change your name or appearance with makeup. possibly something with the bertillion system using measurements of key structures of the face and body.
