Mar 27th 2010 7:03PM So you Republicans out there who think that the health care bill is "socialism" might be interested to know that your police force, fire stations, etc, are provided for using YOUR tax dollars. The health care bill will do the same. Soooo.....if the bill is socialist, then so are the services provided to you on a daily basis! Remember THAT the next time you need a cop or your house catches on fire! As for "running this country into the ground", the economy was in the proverbial toilet long before Dems had control of ANYTHING! Oh yes, one more thing.....if a homeless or jobless person has to be admitted to a hospital without health insurance, YOUR taxes are ALREADY paying for that person! The entire industrialized world has had universal health care for decades and they STILL get to vote for their leaders...tell you anything???

Nov 8th 2009 12:20AM Every other industrial nation has national health care and they are NOT communist! It also isn't Socialist if you pay with your taxes just as you pay into SS, Medicaid, Medicare etc.
And as for paying for the homeless or illegals....you already are!!
Those of you who think that the government will tell you what to do.....the insurance companies do that every time they tell you which doctor to see, what treatment you can have or can't have, and what hospital will take you insurance.

Jul 17th 2009 11:08PM I read these posts from obvious Republicans and feel a great sadness. I have been alive for 56 years and have never seen such hate and distrust of one man in my life. Obama has been in office a mere 6 months and all you people (Republicans) can do is blame him for EVERYTHING that is wrong with your lives. You ALL seem to forget that it took the last 8 years to end up in the financial state this country is in. Deregulating the banks was a brilliant idea eh? Obama wasn't even in the running when the last admin. sent us into a trillion dollar defecit in just one month of 2008.
Besides....all this anti-Obama foolishness posted here has NOTHING to do with the article about Sanford!
You want to take a country down? Keep bitching and complaining instead of trying to help the one man who is doing his best to dig us out.
