Mom gives public punishment for 12-year old accused of bullying {ParentDish}
Jun 6th 2008 12:14PM please....no treat after church is punishment??? no tv for a day???
This kid bullied and stole property. I'd have let the police haul his thug butt down to juvie and let him sit for a few hours. THEN he'd have walked the corner with the sandwich board.
Mom is right on this one. Only thing junior is crying about is the ragging he's going to get from his so-called friends. Maybe he'll make better choices in the future.

Mar 21st 2008 3:31PM yall gripe if a woman has flesh on her bones. ya'll gripe if she doesn't. get a grip!! you'd be calling her fat and hyping how she was letting herself go if she was showing any significant weigh change.

"Bachelor" On Hunt For Human Remains {TMZ}
Mar 21st 2008 3:28PM The men and women who sacrificed their lives for this country deserve our highest respect and consideration. I would rather spend money on this type of service than provide cash to welfare recipients or perks to politicians. I estimate the money spent on this endeavor equals about $5-6 per person per year in the US. Sacrifice on of your Starbucks coffees or 6-pack of beer. I think I can handle that.

Mar 21st 2008 11:55AM It is sad that parents would bring their children to such an "event" proving once more the problems with today's society starts in the homes.
New school to pay teachers what they're worth (almost) {ParentDish}
Mar 13th 2008 1:26PM Well if we're paying for product then let's cut the salaries of administrators and bureaucrats that create useless curricula and bog down teachers with no child left behind rules that stifle creativity and growth for gifted kids. Why do they have to teach every child the same thing? It's like one poster said earlier - everyone can WANT to be an astronaut but not everyone is ABLE to be an astronaut.
We need to group kids by abilities (standardized test scores and evalutations) and let those that can move further faster have that chance, while those that need more focused attention can have that as well.
And when children fail, let them fail!! Don't pass someone along because it's politically incorrect to fail them. Don't pass them along because mom and dad don't believe their lil darling isn't a social pariah that wreaks havoc in the classroom and shouts from the rooftop about lawyers and lawsuits and such. When we stop catering to such foolishness we'll see an improvement in our schools.
