Detroit's Urban Farms: Budget Battles and Milking Goats (Gadling)
Jun 9th 2011 8:42PM I understand the goats, pediatricians have told mothers to give their children organic milk until they are 2. Goat milk is much easier to digest than cow's milk and fewer children are allergic to it. BUT WHY THE HORSE? Where would it be ridden? Why would a pregnant girl who is totally unfamiliar with livestock have any need to learn about a horse?
Mother of 'Genderless' Baby Storm Speaks Out (ParentDish)
May 31st 2011 5:07PM Would all of you all choose to force a child into a mold created by popular opinion? How about those parents who use real physical means to "help" a child "choose the right sexual identity"? I think they will have a very hard time keeping this decision but it is far better than making a decision for your child. I played with boys and trucks and took auto repair as soon as the government decided a woman could do so and am now a great grandmother. Didn't hurt me at all to play baseball instead of dolls.
Michigan May Allow Under-10 Crowd to Go Hunting (ParentDish)
May 27th 2011 6:59PM I am more worried about how on earth are those little children going to tote their guns or bows and arrows? Why hasn't anyone that started hunting when they were 5 said how big they were? How is a smaller 8 year old going to draw a bow with enough muscle power to actually cause the animal to die quickly or is his father or uncle or older brother going to finish the animal off if it hasn't run away to die later by being eaten by feral mutts? I have mixed feelings about hunting, I know it is a necessity because we have killed off most preditors but killing for the sake of killing a trophy animal? Letting a young child kill an animal? Seems like you might be breeding a group of vegetarians.
Grace Jones: Transforming Into the Beauty Icon (Stylelist)
May 19th 2011 8:41AM Grace is gorgeous and the Grace wannabe is nice looking too. This is coming from a Southern great grandmother so to all you disgusting commentators.....we don't give 2 whoops about your opinions.
Common Craze at The White House (BV Newswire)
May 11th 2011 9:53PM Seems like a lot of anger about an angry poet.
If everyone seems to know him [I don't} he must be popular and if you know about his "rap" you are supporting him just by listening so are you angry too?

Apr 22nd 2011 10:33AM Simple: do you want your great great grand kids to be able to breathe?
Cutting the Cord on Cable TV's Pricey Monthly Bill -- Savings Experiment (WalletPop)
Feb 24th 2011 4:11PM How about moving to the boonies where there is no cable? Saves a lot of cash.
10 Offbeat Ways to Be Frugal (WalletPop)
Jan 27th 2011 5:42PM Having fewer kids is the answer, not having no children if you really want them and can afford to send each to at least a trade school if not college. My [now deceased] parents have a grand total of 2 great great grandchildren instead of the usual multitude. It was by the choice of each child, grandchild and great grandchild.
Consumer Ally Interview: Toys R Us CEO Jerry Storch Talks Safety (WalletPop)
Jan 26th 2011 10:10PM American companies have been making drop side cribs forever.
by the way, you all probably mean USA made products because America includes all South America, I decided to include this for all those who were educated in this country after 1960.
Consumer Ally Warns About Phony Debt Collector Calls (WalletPop)
Dec 21st 2010 11:07AM The other very sneaky thing "they" are doing lately is state they are from one of your credit card companies and they want to lower your interest rate. I tell them I pay my entire bill when it comes so I don't have any interest to pay. They have never heard of anyone paying their entire bill each month so they just hang up and those calls are at an end until some other group gets my name.
