Sep 19th 2009 3:44PM So what is to prevent someone from taking an unsuspecting victim's phone # and putting it in? I thought the person had to actually text a short code? Regardless AT&T is in the wrong for not requiring an opt in verification text for these kinds of services. They are turning a blind eye so the $50 charge can stick and they can get their cut, shady business.
