Aug 5th 2009 10:00AM I do not see the problem with a "leash". I have an ADHD child when he was little he could disappear in one second. We went to the state fair one year I connected us by our belt loops with a dog leash so he was always attached to me.

OK I had my first at 33 (after 15 years of birth control) and my second at 36 (oh my god over 35) and before I got married from age 15-31 I HAD MULTIPLE SEX PARTNERS...Vicky - IT WORKS :) Thanks for your advice lolol.

Feb 7th 2008 1:50PM When these 14 yr old olds that are making these "creepy-gross" comments become "mature" adults, then they will be able to make an educated comment about this topic. Being "mature" is the key here - some people are not "mature" at 18, 20 or 30, yet some are "mature" way beyond their years of age.
In the old days - it was common for young girls to marry men in their 20'2 - 30's and beyond. My great grandma (I am 48) - was born in the mid to late 1800's was 12 and he was 30 when they married.

not only are they at completely stages in life and different maturity levels. but 18 is sooooo young. it would be a different story if she was 25 and he was 37 or she was 30 and he was 42.

Keithnl - we can tell your immature by the "damn skippy its gross" comment"......my hubby was 20 when we met and I turned 31 a week later, married 6 mos later when he was then 21 and I was 31. We have been married for going on 17 years. My mom used to say that I was a bit "young" for my age and he was a bit "old", meeting in the middle. It is the person - NOT THE AGE. We can also tell that this actor is immature, probably jealous.
Obviously he could not date someone older until HE matured.

Feb 7th 2008 9:18AM My hubby was 20 when we met and I was almost 31. 6 mos later we married when he was 21 ans I was 31. This Nov. 16th will be our 17th wedding anniversary :)
