Fat vs. Obese: Which Is Worse? (That's Fit)

Aug 11th 2010 6:35PM A lot of people don't know what the difference is, unless you are actually obese. both are derogatory terms used to make fun of people's fat level. People who aren't obese, can still be 'fat' though. so I belive it depends on if you are 'normal' obsese or morbidly obese. I am obese, and it is the most derogatory term for me because many people do not know the difference, and many think of me as morbidly obese. It all depends on the comfort level of the individual with their fat content, and how much fat they actually have.

5 Best Fruits and Veggies You Can Eat - Not the Ones You Think (AOL Health)

Jun 24th 2010 1:36PM this article doesn't say what are the best fruits and veggies- they are just saying what has more of certain enzymes and stuff.

5 Best Fruits and Veggies You Can Eat - Not the Ones You Think (AOL Health)

Jun 24th 2010 1:31PM THIS ARTICLE IS ABSURD. All switches are good and bad. However, I was completely disgusted with the claims.
#1 Sweet Potatoes contain more carbohydrates then carrots, and therefore are worse for most people, especially diabetics and those leaning towards diabetes.
#2 - The basis for this whole article is the amount of some beneficial part of the fruits and veggies. However, most of us don't get enough fruits and veggies as it is. Therefore it would be beneficial to eat more of one thing for the same amount than to 'get off' with eating less of the fruit or veggie.
#3and sweet potato fries are just what they sound like FRIED. containing all the fat and oil of the fryer- and I'm not sure but from my knowledge I believe the heat takes some of the beta-carotene out especially from the outside where it touches the oil. Also, most sweet potato products- unless you make them from the sweet potatoes yourself, contain fillers and other ingredients that do not make the comparison accurate.
#4 it’s not like you can just say "This recipe calls for mustard. I'm going to put Kale in" that’s ridiculous.

'Dancing With the Stars' Season 8 Winner Is Shawn Johnson (AOL TV: Dancing with the Stars)

May 20th 2009 10:12PM Yes, Gilles is a great dancer and has shown it. But he hasn't been doing as well in the later end of the season. Melissa was also a great dancer and was a fan favorite. But Shawn really did deserve the trophy from becoming an okay dancer to become the best dancer in the competition. She dominated the freestyle which shows that she was the best dancer not just at a specific dance. The votes all season long have mostly been on the previous nights dance. Where Shawn had a great night the night before. I was happy with anyone to win. Also, if the voting was based on judges ONLY - they tried that the first season and so few people watched the show that the fan voting was introduced. Also, Melissa would have been out weeks ago if that happened. The fact is- Shawn brought it when the trophy was TRUELY on the line, and she won!

Facebook 101: 25 Tips and Tricks (Switched)

Jan 4th 2009 7:17PM You can make your profile unsearchable from anyone outside of your networks- with this, along with setting your profile to be viewed only by friends, makes it so that nobody that facebook is their only means of finding you can see your picture, and you have to approve them to let them see your whole profile, or even give them a limited profile to look at.

Celebrity Quotes of the Week (Blackvoices Main)

Mar 5th 2008 7:17PM It's not about the adopted child itself, its about a special bond you have with someone that you actually father. I don't think Wyclef doesn't think of his child as adopted anymore, he is joyful of the experience and just stating that he would like to father a child of his own.

Is The Sal Fasano Era Over in Toronto? (Fanhouse MLB Blog)

Jun 2nd 2007 11:50AM as a yankee fan, when I remember Sal, I remember 2 things, the way he is fantastic at guarding the plate, and you guessed it his mustache, although he was considered an easy out for the other team, the games I went to in Yankee Stadium in 2006,Sal caught, and I enjoyed seeing a great catcher.
