Official Family Portrait on Royal Wedding Day (PopEater)
Apr 30th 2011 11:43AM Ignorant Americans...it is customary in England to wear white dummies and is not frowned upon in that country. That is not America stupids, they have different customs and traditions. Now go back to TV and potato chips.
Official Family Portrait on Royal Wedding Day (PopEater)
Apr 30th 2011 11:35AM I agree with Rosie. As much as I loved Diana (my eldest has her name as middle name) look at it from Charles perspective. He was best friends with Camilla for years, had feelings and love for her that whole time but was not able to marry her. He never wanted Diana and you can't fault him for that. You love who you love, we have no control. His duties to his family ruined his life. Men love too. No one hurt anyone on purpose. He was a wordly man married to a child and that must have been so hard on him. He is happy, Diana is at peace, William married his friend and everyone is well. Move on.
First Pics of LeAnn Rimes' Revealing Wedding Gown (PopEater)
Apr 26th 2011 9:49PM It's easy to hate on these two, but here's a fact. I actually know several couples where one left one for the other woman (they have married 35 years now), another friend cheated on her bf, a month later he proposed, they are going on 10 years of happiness and 3 kids (no one cheats) and yet another couple where the guy kept getting scared, backing off and then finally, he's happily engaged.
Love is funny. Don't think it won't work, it just might.
Kara DioGuardi: I Was Date Raped by Well-Known Music Producer (PopEater)
Apr 19th 2011 3:19PM I don't know any woman in the last 43 years of my life that I have met that hasn't been molested, or date raped, raped or all three. The exception? My daughter, because I knew it would happen to her so I had jobs where I wouldn't have to leave her anywhere or stayed home. She's only 19 so it can still happen. Now that we're all talking about it, what can we do to get these damn men to keep it in their pants till we grow up?! And why are we not watching our kids?!
In Praise of Single Mothers: Why I'm Glad I Was Raised by a Single Mom (MyDaily)
Feb 25th 2011 5:08PM It's interesting to me that there would be a critical view of single parenting, when the fact of the matter is, many of us didn't CHOOSE to be single. Let me give a counter view. Single parenthood SUCKS.
I was left with a baby as a newlywed, abandoned by my immature husband and left homeless. Being a caretaker as a living didn't pay the bills. I had to work three jobs and often had to bring her. It was hell. I became very overprotective because of abuse as a child (by a sitter) and as a result, when my daughter turned 18, she not only left to be "free" but has taken free to extreme heights. No job, no home, says she wants to be free and enjoy herself. Did she get that from me? Hell no. She saw me work my ass off. That being said. I never had money. We rode the bus for groceries, fairs, festivals, and I gave her as much fun as I could with what I had.
The mothers that succeed are often on a higher economic level. A mortgage? Must be nice to have a house...she was raised in apartments. This is the downside of single parenting. It's about money. I never put importance on money and I was wrong. Had I married a well off man, dumped her at daycare and worked 60 hour work weeks, I'd have a better 19 year old. She'd have a car, maybe some college, maybe a chance. Now I just wait for a phone call that something horrible has happened. Single parent? Do what you can to make money and lots of it. Your kid might have a chance.
Gwyneth Paltrow Offends Working Moms (AOL Jobs)
Feb 17th 2011 2:41PM I have been a stay at home mother and a mother with three jobs. Guess what? It's all hard. As a former Nanny, let me just speak for them. I never worked for a lazy mother. The mothers were so busy trying to do it all, they simply didn't have the time...they were, like Gwyneth a Type A. Money or not, it's hard, it's just harder in different ways. She has more resources, for sure.
TV Executives Want to Force Charlie Sheen into Rehab (PopEater)
Jan 27th 2011 10:42PM If he is showing up and performing as usual, there is nothing to do. That being said, he doesn't need rehab, he needs to be fired, lose his kids and actually PAY for what he is doing. All this is teaching young kids is, as long as I am rich I can do all the sex and drugs I want and I won't suffer! These dumb mothers who get rich off of him need to take the kids away.
Sandra Bullock Not Blindsided by Jesse James' Engagement (PopEater)
Jan 23rd 2011 10:32PM I don't feel that sorry for Sandra. He had been married 3 times, once to a porn star. He didn't exactly have a great track record. Honestly, she was stupid.
Kelsey Grammer to Marry Fiancee Kayte Walsh After Valentine's Day? (PopEater)
Jan 21st 2011 9:32PM Really all you can do is laugh. They look like father and daughter, ew! I am sure she got pregnant on purpose for the thousands a month in child support. Does he actually believe that she LOVES him? Yea, um, Kels? Couples like you do not exist in the real world. If he was some guy in a bar, she would have laughed to all her friends about creepy guy. Ew, ew, ew.
Robert Redford Opens Up About Infant Son's Death (PopEater)
Jan 21st 2011 2:44PM She's younger, nooo, really? Typical.
Sad to know of the death of his son, I didn't know that. My nephew also died of SIDS in 1985. Just have to hope a big reunion in the sky is a happy one!
