Mar 9th 2010 1:47PM Google has always emphasized that the uploader of the video needs to check the accuracy of the captions. Now the Google technology makes it easier for all companies to caption their own videos to publicize their products and services for an even wider audience at no extra cost----but the companies still need to take responsibility for reviewing and editing the captions.

Vonage Gets iPhone App Approved (Switched)

Sep 2nd 2009 9:42PM A Vonage number can easily be set up to ring several phone numbers simultaneously, including the iPhone number (using SimulRing). Thus it's not accurate to say that you can't receive Vonage calls on your iPhone, albeit indirectly.

Furthermore, because of SimulRing, it might be possible to realize you're actually receiving a Vonage call (particularly if you haven't given out your iPhone number) and then switch to the Vonage application to answer the call there (possibly at no additional cost). That would be pretty useful for people using a limited Vonage plan, though people who have the full Vonage plan and unlimited calls on the iPhone would just go ahead and receive Vonage calls on their iPhone. (Not many people would have the full Vonage plan and unlimited calls on the iPhone, though.)

I think the addition of a Vonage application could be very useful overall, depending on how it's implemented.
