Jul 7th 2008 4:58PM You paronoid freaks need to calm down and get a clue. After 9-11 I have no problem with our government looking at people of interest with or without their knowledge. I had two friends killed in the North Tower and numberous other's either killed or injured in Iraq since then by a group of people who want to kill us for what? Because we don't believe in their version of how they think the world should conduct themselves. Many American's have died for the freedoms we enjoy here in the USA. Every male member of my family going back to my great-grandfather has served in at least one of the four branches of the service including myself who served eight years in the Army. I have a brother flying F16's and a brother in-law flying Blackhawks in two different theater's over there right now protecting not only our brother's in arms but those people who live over there who want the same right's and freedom's we enjoy. Get over yourself and concentrate on doing something to enhance your family's life and help out the community you live in. You conspiracy theorist are a disgrace not only to your own families but to the other citizens of these UNITED States of America. Use your energy to help out those in your community who need it and come up with solutions to the problems those individuals who really deserve it.

Jun 12th 2008 4:25PM We hear these stories time and time again. The guy made mistakes, who hasn't? If you really look, in great detail, many if not all of these full contact athlete's suffer pyhsically for the rest of their lives after their careers come to an end. It's a proven fact that almost 100% of those who played consistantly suffer from life long injuries because they put their bodies through this for our enjoyment. I think everyone deserves a second chance to redeem themselves if they are serious about it. I was on the road to the NFL if I had not sustained a knee injury in high school. My coaches were honest with me about what I could and probably would have looked forward to if I had made the decision to push it. After speaking with my parents and my coach I decided that getting a degree business and becoming a working stiff like most people do. To this day I have had three additional surgeries to the same knee and I work behind a desk. These guys put their bodies and sometimes minds through much more than they should. Maybe the people in their life should have given them the advice I received instead of pushing them to go out their and put their bodies through punishment that will eventually cause them many years of negative health issues. At that level it's all about the money and fame that is thrown at them by people who won't stand by them when the money stops coming in.

Apr 12th 2008 10:38PM All of you people need to get a life. Carrie Underwood does have talent and I think she is wreeping the benefits of a lot of years of hard work. Not everyone has the gumption to get out there and put it all on the line. She did and was fortunate enough to see her dreams come true. Give her a break and let her live her life. She's a young woman like a lot of young woman who's life is viewed through a microscope. You should be happy for anyone who gets to see their dreams come true.
