Apple Magic Trackpad official, shipping now for $69 (Engadget)
Jul 27th 2010 10:12AM Seems like something that would be more useful for the iPad. That way at your desk you could have a keyboard and this trackpad making the iPad a full desktop when at your desk.

Jul 17th 2010 6:32AM @Scott423 thanks for all that feedback, good to hear from actual users. I am on the old iPhone 3G so I am expecting a big speed increase with the iPhone 4.
I think the iPhone looks great which is why I didn't really want one of those bumpers even though everyone seems to agree it solves the problem. However the element case you linked to looks awesome and I would be happy to use that one.
Will just get one and if it suffers badly from the signal issue I will add the element case.
Thanks once again guys

Jul 17th 2010 4:11AM @o0timbo0o Thanks for the info.....
I am in Australia so the phone isn't out yet so can't buy till the end of the month. The rest of the world is trying to make sense of this.... is it the iPhone 4, the AT&T network, media blow up or a bit of everything hence why I want to hear from actual users.
I get the impression it's a little bit of everything, whether it will effect you seems to depend on the individual user so I think I shall be checking it out in store and making sure the returns policy is locked in for us downunder.

Jul 17th 2010 2:32AM We should make a new rule.... you can only comment on the iPhone 4 reception issue if you have an iPhone 4!
I don't care what Anti / Pro Apple people have to say I only want to hear from the people that actually have first hand experience.
Is it good is it bad?
I want to know as I am thinking about upgrading my old phone.
I don't need to hear the opinions of all these people that actually have no idea because they don't have one. All this Apple is this... Apple is that... blah who cares it is only a phone and it either works or it doesn't.
If you don't have one you really don't know jack.

Apple iPad review (Engadget)
Apr 4th 2010 1:24PM @jimlivingston Dude Engadget is a publication and most publications run on advertising. You sell advertising one way or another based on traffic.
Fact is Apple's Ipad is going to get more traffic and interest then the Joo Joo. That they published the iPad review before the Joo Joo just shows Engadget needs to pay the bills like everyone else.
If I came to Engadget today and saw a review for the Joo Joo and not the iPad I would leave and go somewhere else, thus they would lose traffic and advertising dollars. This however does not mean they are biassed to Apple in there reviews.
iTunes goes 9.0.2: adds support for Apple TV 3.0, kills Pre sync (Engadget)
Oct 30th 2009 4:13AM I am curious .... how many of those mp3s have you legally licensed ??
iTunes goes 9.0.2: adds support for Apple TV 3.0, kills Pre sync (Engadget)
Oct 30th 2009 4:09AM I don't understand why Apple doesn't just license iTunes to Palm if they want it so bad. Increase the iTunes user base and increase iTunes Store customers....not to mention charging and having a conversation with Palm's customers. I seem like lots of wins for Apple rather then stupidly fighting them on it.
In fact why not open up iTunes and license it to many manufacturers or are they worried their hardware will not stack up with the competition. Surely they will end up making a lot more money from content sales then hardware sales..... just thinking out loud so don't shoot me if I am way off the mark
